With his goal, Rashford has become the 22nd player to score 100 goals for Man Utd, and the first player to reach this milestone for the club since Wayne Rooney in 2009.

When Manchester United got that throw-in, Diogo Dalot was quickly in position to take it.

Casemiro came shot and demanded the ball. But Dalot put his hand up as if to say no and waited for Christian Eriksen to appear instead.

He threw the ball to the Dane, who exchanged passes with Bruno Fernandes before delivering a superb cross for Rashford to score his 100th goal for United.

Superb that.

That was Rashford's fourth Premier League goal of the season. No other United player has more this campaign.

What a brilliant ball by Eriksen, Rashford timed his run to perfection. He rose very early, powerful header, Fabianski no chance. And you've got to say Man United have just shaded it so far. Kehrer doesn't see Rashford, he just pops up. And that's his plane ticket.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea came to his side's rescue when he raced from his goal to clear as Sain Benrahma threatened.

De Gea has missed out on selection for Spain's World Cup squad as Luis Enrique just doesn't rate him as a ball-playing goalkeeper.

He has been one of United's better performers over the past couple of seasons.

Gianluca Scamacca is the first man in the book for a trip on Marcus Rashford, who had completely outfoxed the West Ham striker on the left near the Hammers box.

The resulting free-kick is headed away by the first defender.

This is better from the home side.

Luke Shaw gets in down the left on the overlap and sees his cross blocked behind.

The corner is taken short and swung in for Anthony Elanga to take the ball down and volley across goal.

Man Utd are struggling to make any possession count for much going forward.

They try to get Cristian Eriksen in with a long ball forward that Lukasz Fabianski gets to first with a header outside his box. The keeper lands really awkwardly but looks to have come out unscathed.

That's poor from Cristiano Ronaldo. He is released into space and is clearly trying to dink a pass between the West Ham defence for Marcus Rashford, but gets it all wrong and gifts possession back to the visitors.

It draws large groans of discontent. Fascinating how far Ronaldo's stock has fallen in these parts.

Just a few nervous noises around the ground now. The home fans can sense that West Ham are in this game and starting to ask questions. It has been a while since Man Utd got into a dangerous area.

Steve: Hi Folks, I sincerely hope that the assistant referee is made to review his performance. David Moyes and Rice were right, the whole ball needs to be across the lines.

Tadeusz: That lino decision on the Declan Rice ball that wasn't out was so bad that if it had been a player they'd have been red-carded for a cynical professional foul.

That's three times Benrahma has got in down this left hand side. We know Dalot likes to play but you've got to keep your eye on Benrahma.

Jarrod Bowen draws a superb block from David de Gea after he is found in space and on an angle in the box.

It wouldn't have counted as Bowen was offside, but De Gea didn't know that.

David de Gea makes a judgement call to leave his box to reach the ball ahead of the scampering Said Benrahma. The home keeper gets it right and clears.

Benrahma is the main man for the Hammers at the moment.
