Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic says they are looking forward to a reunion with striker Erling Haaland, who left for City this summer.

"Of course we are delighted to meet him again. We're very happy with what he did on and off the pitch and wish him all the best," said Terzic.

"His excellent start here didn’t surprise us. Already City score over 100 goals a season and he can add to that – but we hope he will not score on Tuesday."

On defender Manuel Akanji, who joined City at the end of the window, Terzic said: "We look forward to seeing Akanji. It was not an easy situation for him or us, he told us he wanted to leave.

"We're very happy it worked out for him, he told us he wanted to go to an international top club."

  7. 'I've never been a coach that asks for time' - Potterpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 14 September 2022

Chelsea v RB Salzburg (20:00 BST)

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport at Stamford Bridge

It's been a long week at Chelsea. Seven days ago, former manager Thomas Tuchel was sacked. Last Thursday Graham Potter was appointed. Last night he admitted he hadn't been to a Champions League game, before his boss Todd Boehly said English football should have an All-Star game.

Potter has admitted it's been a "whirlwind" and tonight we will get the first signs of whether his appointment is a gamble or a shrewd choice from the club's new owners.

In his programme notes, Potter says: "There is always an element of time involved if you want to improve, but at the same time we have to understand that our job is to be competitive and I've never been a coach that asks for time."

Despite his undoubted achievements in the game, the pressure will be on him from the first match.
