Rangers 0-0 Napoli
This is table football stuff. The ball is just zinging from end to end.
Piotr Zielinski bends in a deep free-kick, it's a gorgeous ball, but no-one can get on the end of it.

Quote MessageWhat a save that is, it's tremendous. It was a good move from Rangers and a good pick out to find Arfield.
Rangers 0-0 Napoli
For the first time in the game Napoli look like they are enjoying a spell of possession. But, bang, Rangers are on them again.
Borna Barisic brings the ball forward and finds Scott Arfield, who drills one from range towards the top-right corner, but Alex Meret is up high to his left to tip behind the post.

Quote MessageThat's more like it from Ryan Kent. He was so direct with his dribbling there. Great start.
Rangers 0-0 Napoli
Rangers pick up a loose ball and look to build an attack.
Here's Ryan Kent, he's past one and into the box and puts a low ball into the box.
James Tavernier is there but it's on his wrong foot. His strike is tame and blocked.

Quote MessageJohn Lundstram looks to almost be creeping out to the right-hand side in order to make a back five already. Maybe it's something Van Bronckhorst has already noticed
Rangers 0-0 Napoli
For a minute it looks like Connor Goldson slips as Giovanni Simeone looks to race through on goal.
But a foul is given against the Napoli striker.

A frightening pace to the start of this game, and the home crowd is energising the hosts.
Napoli aren't mucking about either...

What a start to this game!
Up the other end, a clearance only goes as far as Piotr Zielinksi, who smashes a left-foot strike off the woodwork from the edge of the box.

When the Rangers team was read out before kick-off, Alfredo Morelos' name got the loudest roar by a mile.

Quote MessageWhat a ball from Tavernier. Morelos should score.
Rangers 0-0 Napoli
Rangers press the Serie A visitors and win a corner. Huge, huge roar from the home crowd.
James Tavernier's corner is gathered by Napoli keeper Meret, however.
Rangers 0-0 Napoli
What a start that would've been for Rangers and Alfredo Morelos!
James Tavernier's cross from the right finds the striker, who can't plant his close-range header on target.
Rangers 0-0 Napoli
We're under way at Ibrox.
A minute's silence will now be observed at Ibrox, followed by the national anthem.
As the players come out the tunnel, the entire stand to their left unveils a tifo in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, who died aged 96 last Thursday.

Goalkeeper Allan McGregor (40 years and 226 days old) will tonight become the oldest player to play for Rangers in the Champions League, overtaking ex-captain David Weir, who was 40 years and 211 days old, when he played against Bursaspor in December 2010.
As well as that, only Steed Malbranque for Lyon (14 years and 194 days) has had a bigger gap between Champions League appearances for the same club than McGregor for Rangers (11 years and 281 days).

Quote MessageI think Lundstram might drop into a back three tonight out of possession. That might mean that Ryan Kent moves up front alongside Alfredo Morelos. The big talking point is Morelos - if he's on form, and he's in the mood, then he's the best striker Rangers have.
Rangers v Napoli (20:00)
Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst tells BT Sport: “The thinking is to bring in a squad who can win the game and that's always the most important thing.
"We want to win at home against any team, against Napoli we know it will be challenging."
On the inclusion if Alfredo Morelos: "I had a good conversation with him. He was disappointed about not being included against PSV and he is positive now and works hard in training. You can see the difference from a couple of weeks ago."
