Both Dykes' goals were assisted by Ryan Fraser, too.

We're into three minutes of injury time. Don't want this game to end, to be honest.
Scotland 3-0 Ukraine
Scotland have been outrageously good tonight.
First game in the new strip as well. It may well have magical powers.

Quote MessageWhat a magnificent header that is. He gets up so early and the power he generates is incredible. This result does not flatter Scotland at all. They've been magnificent in this second half.
Lyndon Dykes
The big man does it again!
Must confess I thought it was a replay of Dykes' first goal, but in fact it's just remarkably similar.
Same routine - Fraser corner, Dykes' towering header in at far post. Simply glorious stuff.
Scotland 2-0 Ukraine
There were just three minutes and 19 seconds between Lyndon Dykes coming on as a substitute and scoring Scotland's second goal.
Dykes has also contributed to goals in his last three home games in the Nations League (two goals, one assist), tonight's was his first this season in the competition.

Another couple of Scotland changes.
Off go Kieran Tierney and Ryan Christie, on come Greg Taylor and Kenny McLean.

Quote MessageThoroughly deserved, Scotland have totally dominated. It's the perfect header, he knows exactly where he wants it to go. It's a strikers goal, a goalscorer's instinct.

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live
Quote MessageThat goal is straight off the training ground, making sure there's space for Dykes to run to that near post. The staff will be so delighted with the way that came together.

Now that's what you want from your subs!
Ryan Fraser floats over a corner and Lyndon Dykes leaps to divert a brilliant header past the helpless keeper and into the bottom corner.
It's no more than Scotland deserve.

Quote MessageI'll be delighted if John McGinn goes above me [in the all-time Scotland scoring chart]. He's been a brilliant player for us and I think he's got a lot more goals in him.

It's now Ukraine's turn to surround the referee. It's fair to say they don't think John McGinn won the ball cleanly.
The Ukraine head coach Oleksandr Petrakov is pulling out the customary TV hand signal asking for VAR but the goal stands.
