Difficult chance but Kepa is again guilty of flapping at the corner. Fortunately for Chelsea it fell to Gourna when he was off-balance at the far post and he could on hit it over the top of the crossbar.

Again, not convincing from Kepa but he's got away with it.

Lucas Gourna-Douath lets him off the hook by blazing over at the far post after the Chelsea keeper failed to punch out.

Amar Dedić is stood in acres on the right and is picked out by Benjamin Sesko's square pass.

The Chelsea substitute harries and hassles, but is somewhat harshly penalised. Conor Gallagher lumps the loose ball towards the Salzburg goal when the whistle has already gone.

Ouch! Once of those which makes you wince just watching. Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva wins a header but lands heavily and awkwardly.

Thankfully he seems to be OK and is quickly back in action after a brief word with the medical staff.

Chelsea win a free-kick when Ruben Loftus-Cheek falls over after a tussle with Junior Adamu.

The away side won't mind the play being broken up like that.

Salzburg made a couple more subs a few moments ago, by the way.

Forward Noah Okafor and left-back Maximilian Wöber sprint off, with Andreas Ulmer and Roko Šimić replacing them.

Chelsea need another goal cushion to feel secure. Salzburg fancy themselves. The quality of delivery and balls into the box has been very good from the home side.

Salzburg win a free-kick deep in Chelsea territory. But it's too deep and allows Blues keeper Kepa to collect comfortably on this occasion.

That means a change of shape for Chelsea as Cesar Azpilicueta slots into a back four at right-back.

Little under 15 minutes of normal time to see this one out.

Here is Cesar Azpilicueta. And he's joined by more fresh legs in the shape of striker Armando Broja.

Christian Pulisic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the ones replaced.

Salzburg have been better in this second half, in the final third certainly, with the introduction of Sesko and Okafor being up there already. But their attacks have still mainly come from Chelsea giving the ball away.

Scoring a third is another way to put this one to bed.

Christian Pulisic, who has looked close to his electric best tonight, can't test the Salzburg keeper from just inside the box, but the ball breaks to Conor Gallagher on the rebound.

The England midfielder shoots as another Salzburg body makes a desperate lunge to block.

Of course, Graham Potter is well aware of what his team need to do. With that in mind, he's going to bring on Cesar Azpilicueta shortly.

Chelsea need to get a grip on this again - and quickly.
