The loud booing when the half-time whistle sounded just about summed up the mood around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs were right off the pace with Sporting looking so much sharper.
Spurs simply have to produce better because this Sporting side are probing their vulnerability and exploiting the nervousness among fans.
Ajax 0-1 Liverpool
No changes for either side at the start of the second half. Ajax need to start this as they did the first and try and get a quick goal because nothing less than a win will do for the hosts.

More of the same in the second half. Sporting look in the mood a lot more than Spurs. Hugo Lloris punches away a Francisco Trincao cross.

The final of Copa Libertadores, basically South America's Champions League, will be broadcast live across the BBC on Saturday.
Two-time champions Flamengo will play Luiz Felipe Scolari's Athletico Paranaense at the Estadio Monumental in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Paranaense last reached the final in 2005, when they suffered a 4-0 defeat by Sao Paulo.
The match will be shown live on iPlayer and streamed on the BBC Sport website, with kick-off at 21:00 BST.

Tottenham have been so bad, so lethargic. This is why sometimes managers love to come out with messages. Conte was talking about fatigue, maybe the players believe it that they are fatigued and that they are tired.
They look miles off it, it will be interesting to see if there are any changes at half-time. Sporting have looked far, far better. We haven't seen anything from Spurs other than the occasional ball into Harry Kane and that's when they do look dangerous.
Conte comes out with these negative messages and tells us that the players are tired in October.

Spurs deserve the boos at half-time. They have been hopeless. Great story with Marcus Edwards scoring against his former club, a brilliant goal and beating Lloris. Sporting have been the better team, they've outplayed Tottenham. I suppose the only positive for Tottenham is that they can't be any worse in the second half.

This scoreline means Liverpool will go through to the knockout stages while Ajax will be eliminated. Plenty of football still to be played, however.
