    Rotherham 1-1 Huddersfield

Nice play from the away side on the counter attack.

Lee Nicholls hits a wonderful drop kick over to Sorba Thomas charging forward down the Town right and his cross is just too far in front of Danny Ward at the back stick.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Luton 1-0 QPR

Off the line and then off the post!

Luton skipper Sonny Bradley sees his header cleared off the line and seconds later goalscorer Elijah Adebayo gets up well but nods his own effort against the woodwork

Before that Henri Lansbury had also screwed a shot wide when well-placed.

A string of great chances go begging as the Hatters almost grab a second, but somehow QPR survive.

  3. Postpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Rotherham 1-1 Huddersfield

The game has just lost its momentum after that knock for Huddersfield defender Michal Helik and now Rotherham midfielder Shane Ferguson is down holding his shin.

    Rotherham 1-1 Huddersfield

Huddersfield defender Michal Helik is down and getting some treatment on what looks like an arm injury.

The Terriers will hope the Poland international can continue.

  5. Postpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Rotherham 1-1 Huddersfield

Prior to today Huddersfield had lost every game when they had conceded the first goal, so getting a quick equaliser was always likely to be important.

Both sets of fans are right up for this now.

The R's have responded well to going behind.

Ilias Chair's eyes light up as he gets an opening for a shot but a good covering tackle from Henri Lansbury denies him.

Lyndon Dykes then sends a header at goal which is saved by Ethan Horvath, although the offside flag goes up so it wouldn't have counted anyway.

I was just writing what have Huddersfield got in response and well.. It's this.

It's an absolutely great goal as well.

Sorba Thomas has a free-kick deflected behind and the influential Wales forward delivers a great low delivery from the corner into the area for the onrushing Danny Ward to crash home a first-time finish.

    Straight from the training ground.

Harrogate have the lead against Hartlepool at the half-hour mark, Alex Pattison making it two goals in two with a powerful close-range finish.

Meanwhile, the 13:00 BST kick-off between Mansfield and Walsall has just got under way - the Stags are in fantastic form, while the Saddlers are showing signs of turning their fortunes around.

    Lovely, lovely finish.

I said Rotherham had been coming into it in the past few minutes and now they have the lead.

Daniel Barlaser plays a neat pass into the feet of Conor Washington behind the Town defence inside the Huddersfield area and he curls a great finish into Lee Nicholls' far corner with his right foot.

  10. Postpublished at 12:56 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Rotherham 0-0 Huddersfield

There's plenty of space out there for both teams today and it's been a really open contest so far, if, admittedly, lacking in clear-cut chances.

Huddersfield settled the quicker but Millers boss Matt Taylor will have liked some of what he has seen from his new in the past few minutes.

  11. Postpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Rotherham 0-0 Huddersfield

Rotherham work an opening down their right from a long throw from Wes Harding.

It goes out for a corner that Lee Nicholls is able to collect with relative ease.

    The Hatters lead!

Their two front men combine to good effect as Carlton Morris' cross finds the head of Elijah Adebayo, who nods in from close-range for his third goal of the season.

    Great start for the hosts!

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12:49 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Luton 0-0 QPR

QPR are forced into a change inside the opening 20 minutes.

Leon Balogun has picked up a knock and can't continue so on trots Osman Kakay, who got an assist for the R's in their win over Reading last weekend.

Both of these teams are big threats from set pieces.

Daniel Barlaser floats a deep free-kick to veteran skipper Richard Wood to attack.

The centre-back already has four goals this season but this time his header is comfortably gathered by Lee Nicholls in the Town goal.

  15. Postpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Luton 0-0 QPR

The hosts have made a good start and James Bree tries his luck from distance but it flies harmlessly over Seny Dieng's goal.

Prior to that, Henri Lansbury swung in a couple of corners in quick succession, with Dan Potts getting on the end of one of them, but the visitors scrambled the ball away from danger.

  16. Postpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Better from the home side.

They get forward down their left through some neat passing and the ball eventually comes back to Conor Washington on the edge of the area but his low shot is blocked away.

  17. Postpublished at 12:38 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Rotherham 0-0 Huddersfield

The Terriers have certainly started the brighter of the two teams here.

They win a free-kick 35 yards out for a foul by Daniel Barlaser on Duane Holmes.

Wales international Sorba Thomas sends it into the area for defender Michal Helik to head across goal for Jordan Rhodes but he can't reach it.

  18. Postpublished at 12:37 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    Luton 0-0 QPR

The first opening of the game at Kenilworth Road and it's the visitors who engineer it.

Ilias Chair slips a ball through towards the advancing Luke Amos but Hatters defender Tom Lockyer is across to make a timely interception.

Glorious conditions for football in South Yorkshire.

The away side pinch the ball on the halfway line and Grant Hall has to head a Sorba Thomas cross over his own crossbar.

The resultant corner finds Jordan Rhodes in the area but his header is straight at Viktor Johansson in the Millers goal.

    Decent start from the Terriers.
