Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
A ball over the top nearly does the trick for Chelsea as Johanna Rytting Kaneryd is put through.
However, she ends up in a particularly boggy part of the penalty area and gets, erm, bogged down.

We are seeing Chelsea try that ball over the net but Brighton are able to clear it every time.
If you are consistent, that one time may pay and you might get a goal from it.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
Those couple of attacks have really given Brighton some confidence that they can get at Chelsea.
Another decent move is ended by Jess Carter's strong tackle on Katie Robinson. That is already developing into a good battle. The Chelsea defender gets the better of that exchange.

Hope Powell hopped on the spot in frustration as her side narrowly failed to find a killer final pass on the fringes of the Chelsea penalty area a moment ago.
The exacting Seagulls coach then had a word with centre-back Kullberg about her positioning, knowing that small details could make the difference between two sides who've frequently had little between them when they've played each other during recent seasons.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
Brighton come forward again and after good hold up play from Sarri, the ball is played wide to the right.
The low cross is a good one but Sarri snatches at the chance and scuffs it. A let off for the visitors.

Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
More patient build-up from Chelsea before Bright plays an incisive pass down the right channel. However, Kaneryd's cross is a poor one and Walsh claims it comfortably.

Walsh's decision to loft a pass towards Pattinson not far from her own penalty area looked brave in conditions that are hardly conducive to perfect control and passing, but it resulted in Brighton's first attack as they swept the ball confidently forward from the back and sent in a dangerous delivery from the right.
The goalkeeper needs to be an authoritative presence tonight and her loud shout of "no" was clearly audible during one of Chelsea's crosses towards the centre of the box. It's having the desired effect, too - her defence have been assured so far.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
Brighton are taking some risks trying to play out from the back. Chelsea are really pressing them but Victoria Williams shows great composure, beats the press and Brighton are away.
They move swiftly into the Chelsea final third but a wayward through ball ends a promising move.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
A foul by James gives Brighton an opportunity to get out of their own half for the first time in a while.
The visitors, despite making seven changes, have not taken long to find their rhythm.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea are starting to move through the gears now and win a corner after a dangerous cross from Lauren James is turned behind.
Niamh Charles gets her head to the corner but can't keep it down. Goal kick.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
You can still see the areas where the pitch is rather damp as Millie Bright splashes forward in bringing the ball out from back.
The ground staff have done really well to get this game on. We can only hope that there is no more rain this evening.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
As you'd expect, it is Chelsea enjoying the lions' share of possession in the opening exchanges. Calmly knocking it about at the back before springing forward with Lauren James.
The ball is worked to the left but good work from Kayleigh Green ensures it goes out for a goal kick.
Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
After the players take a knee there is then a false start before Chelsea, eventually, get us underway in the last WSL game of the weekend.

Brighton manager Hope Powell speaking to Sky Sports: "We know it's been a difficult decision for the referee. The groundstaff have been excellent to clear the surface water - which they look to have done and the game is going ahead. We recognise it's going to be tough but I think we're ready for it and we're going to give it a go."
Brighton v Chelsea (18:45 BST)
As Ben mentioned at 18:35, Brighton have done OK against Chelsea in recent years, even without a bit of assistance from the weather.
Can they cause the champions problems yet again? The teams are out so we'll soon find out.

Chelsea general manager Paul Green speaking to Sky Sports: "It's going to be a quick pitch - very greasy. Hopefully that will help with our speed of play. But it's certainly going to be tricky conditions. It's something we need to deal with.
"Ultimately it's down to the referee - she's deemed it playable, so we've got to respect that and adapt to the conditions. Maybe it's a slight leveller but at the end of the day we've got to come here and get the three points we need to push up the top of the table."

The decision to call the game on has been rewarded by much-improved weather, with the rain holding off and the pitch looking much drier than it was an hour or so ago.
Chelsea's Aniek Nouwen and Millie Bright, who both start, have been spraying crossfield passes towards the end that usually houses the away fans here at the Broadfield Stadium, where the terraces behind the goals are filling up nicely.
Brighton announced yesterday that general admission seating tickets had sold out. The WSL matchball is on its usual plinth in front of the main stand, with flag-bearers carrying the colours of the hosts standing on the sideline, ready to raise the roof.

It might be worth keeping an eye out for any potential spot-kicks...
There have been 11 penalties awarded in the Barclays WSL this season, with six of them coming in Chelsea’s matches (four taken, two faced). There were 23 penalties awarded in the competition last season, with only two coming in Chelsea’s games (two taken).

Brighton have been one of the few teams to consistently cause Chelsea problems in recent seasons, ending their 33-match unbeaten run by winning this fixture 2-1 in February 2021 and securing a goalless draw nine months ago.
“We played on the front foot quite a lot in that game," Seagulls captain Victoria Williams told The Analyst this week. "Where we might have a mid-to-low block in general, you always have to add context - so if the game starts feeling like we can enjoy a little bit more of the ball, and they’re beginning to drop off, you can move forward. It's about game understanding.
"Obviously, the longer you hold those teams, the more confidence you gain from that and actually start thinking about opportunities. Most of the time, I presume they’re coming to these games feeling quite confident.
"But if you can knock that confidence during the game by being hard to break down in general, I’ve noticed they get frustrated a lot sooner - and that’s when gaps start to appear. Then we can really start to impose our game on them, rather it being one-way traffic.”
