Dagny Brynjarsdottir and Hawa Cissoko scored second-half goals as West Ham secured a London derby win at Tottenham.

Arsenal came from behind to thrash Aston Villa 4-1 and of course Chelsea survived a second-half scare to beat Reading.

Oh and it you want to read all-about a four-way title race my colleague Jess Anderson has got you covered here.

More from Chelsea manager Emma Hayes speaking to Sky Sports: "It's easy for all of us to say in hindsight [ when asked about their first goal which replays have shown to be offside]. I didn't even see the goal but the guys told me it was offside. This happens.

"I am an advocate of VAR because if [mistakes] lead to goals, I can totally understand how every team across the league might feel with that.

"It goes in swings and roundabouts - it went in our favour this week, maybe in another week it doesn't. But we do have to improve it."

Asked about the performance of goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, Hayes adds: "I'm not going to target individuals. As a team I felt we were complacent and Ann has been a top goalkeeper for a long time. While she will have wanted to do better we did not do well enough as a team in the second half."

On goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger's mistake:"I'm not going to target individuals. As a team, we were complacent. Ann's been a top goalkeeper for a long time and while she'll want to have done better, as a team we didn't do well enough in the second half."

On Chelsea being top over the WSL break:"It warms my heart as much as my feet are [cold] right now. I want to go in and get a hot watter bottle now, if I can."

  3. 'Officiating is costing teams'published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    FT: Chelsea 3-2 Reading

    Reading Football Club

Reading manager Kelly Chambers speaking to Sky Sports: "We were phenomenal, like we said at half-time we were frustrated with the first goal, it was offside, and I think that deflates us a little bit. But the two other goals that Chelsea scored we could have dealt with them better. We went in at half-time and said 'we can go for this'. We had the attitude and the belief in the changing room to be able to do that.

"We could have stepped off at 3-0 but no, the belief from those girls was absolutely outstanding today.

"The first goal just deflated us, we had a good 30 minutes where we were solid and caused Chelsea problems but the officiating, we speak about it week in week out, but it's costing teams. I'm not saying that we would have drawn this game 2-2, but it sets it wrong from the start. We conceded a goal we shouldn't have conceded. In that moment, it deflates us.

"The belief the girls came out with, we wanted more energy and aggression. Fair play to the girls we didn't sit back and stay safe at 3-0. I am really proud of these girls, they deserved something out of this game over the 90 minutes, but the performance is what I wanted and this gives us something to build on."

  4. 'There was complacency in the second half'published at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    FT: Chelsea 3-2 Reading

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes, speaking to Sky Sports: "We were immaculate in the first half, especially considering the changes. Jelena Cankovic got a couple of goals and we were comfortable.

"That complacency led into the second half. We gave away a cheap goal and credit to Reading, who got the second and made the game interesting for you guys at home."

  5. 'It shows that we can compete with the best teams'published at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    FT: Chelsea 3-2 Reading

    Reading Football Club

Reading captain Emma Harries speaking to Sky Sports: "We knew it'd be tough even trying to get back into the game because they have brilliant players so to get to 3-2 is a massive achievement for us.

"We had momentum [when we scored]. The goals we scored were good and well worked.

"We are gutted not to come away with any points today, people didn't even expect us to come here and contend with the likes of Chelsea but it shows that we can compete with the best teams."

  6. 'This league gets harder and harder each year' - Brightpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    FT: Chelsea 3-2 Reading

    Chelsea

More from Chelsea defender Millie Bright: "For us it was disappointing to concede two goals after a strong first-half performance but again we showed that we can defend those moments.

"Yes it was disappointing but it's three points and you have to move on to the next game. For us we know what we want to achieve this year but it's going game by game. This league gets harder and harder each year, it's really competitive but for us it's just game by game and now we go on to the Champions League."

    Chelsea

Chelsea defender Millie Bright speaking to Sky Sports: "It doesn't matter who starts the games, we have the depth and the quality. Credit to the girls who don't get too many minutes, they're always prepared and always there to take their chance and their training levels are just as high as anyone's.

"I thought it was really good from everyone who came into the game and it was a really strong performance.

"We were not surprised by Reading, from past performances we know what they are all about. They have this fire and grit and desire to keep on pushing no matter the scoreline."

Sam Kerr can't believe it. The Chelsea forward does brilliantly down the left and exchanges passes with Fran Kirby before the offside flag goes up with the Reading goal well within her sights.

She looked a good couple of yards on there.
