City have had the better of possession in that first half, and they've had two shots on target, compared to United's one.

But looking at the action areas, it is no surprise to see that United have spent more in their attacking third (33.3%) than City have in theirs (28.4%).

A lot of City's possession has been in the backline and midfield. They have struggled to be coherent in their attacks so far. Chloe Kelly, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp have all been quiet.

United should keep playing the way they've bene playing.

They haven't been open, they haven't been as expansive as in previous games where they've been a lot more comfortable and scored a lot more goals.

They've been more cautious but they've also committed bodies forward when they've needed to. So stick with what you're doing - it's working.

If you start to drop in and be more defensive, you are inviting pressure from City and their front three will cause you problems.

Well, a tense half where City probably saw most of the ball but United looked more threatening with it.

Gareth Taylor's message will probably be for his players to up the tempo. It's been frustrating for them at times.

As for Marc Skinner, he'll be asking for more of the same.

It was a superbly-worked goal by United.

Would a defeat all-but end Manchester City's hopes of a title challenge?

You'd have to think so.

In the three last seasons, Chelsea, who have won all three titles, lost no games, one game and two games.

This would be City's third defeat of the season already.

This is just begging to be put in the back of the net.

Nikita Parris does really well to find some space and she jabs through the City defence but none of Leah Galton, Alessia Russo or Ella Toone are able to get there before Ellie Roebuck.

The latter two were offside anyway, but that was really good from Parris.

Mary Earps moved her feet brilliantly and got across to make that Deyna Castellanos shot look like it was straight at her. She made that look pretty easy.

This game is so tight. You feel that any mistake will be punished because both teams are sharp up front, with Bunny Shaw and Alessia Russo in excellent form.

Better from City.

They work a crossing opportunity from the right and Lauren Hemp does really well to collect and hold a defender.

She lays off for Deyna Castellanos but her effort from 22 yards is gathered by Mary Earps with relative ease.

City boss Gareth Taylor is shaking his head and barking orders from his technical area.

He wants his players to get forward but they're struggling to get it through the middle of the park at the moment.

United, however, look very dangerous every time they go forward.

Ella Toone drives forward but curls an effort comfortably wide of the City goal.

The home side just aren't able to build any cohesive attacks at the moment.

It's United, United and more United at the moment.

Alessia Russo does brilliantly to hold the ball up and left-back Hannah Blundell drives forward and looks to thread through for Nikita Parris, but a superb diving tackle by Leila Ouahabi denies her.

The summer signing from Barcelona goes absolutely berserk at her City team-mates. She's fuming that Blundell was allowed to drive at the defence like that.

United look really threatening when they come forward.
