  1. 'Draw not disastrous for City'published at 14:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

This would be City's first draw of the season. It wouldn't be disastrous but they are fully committed to keeping their winning run going.

  2. Postpublished at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

Here is the goal that pulled Manchester City level...

Right place, right time for Laura Coombs.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 80 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Wow!

Ellie Roebuck to the rescue this time.

Martha Thomas climbs above the City defence to head towards goal, but Roebuck superbly tips it up.

She's able to compose herself and collect as the ball drops back down too.

Two very good saves in a matter of minutes.

  4. CLOSE!published at 78 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Almost!

Leila Ouahabi is given the freedom of Manchester to whip a left-footed cross into the box.

Bunny Shaw rises highest and powers a header towards goal but it is straight at Mary Earps, who does well to get down quickly and gather it, just before it goes over the line.

A yard either side and the host would probably be ahead.

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

'Come on you Spurs' rings out around Brisbane Road as the hosts win an early corner.

The Hammers clear that easily but it's been a pretty bright start from Rehanne Skinner's side, who are popping the ball around nicely.

It is United's turn to press now.

Ona Batlle gets down the right wing and she crosses into the box. It is met by Alessia Russo but her header flies over the bar.

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

City are able to deal with the corner with relative ease.

Will we see Gareth Taylor go to his bench shortly?

Hayley Raso is always a livewire off it, and Mary Fowler is an attacking option too.

  8. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

Martha Thomas' first involvement sees her win United a corner with a goal-bound effort blocked behind.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Tottenham have failed to find the back of the net in three of their previous four WSL fixtures.

That run has basically seen them concede seven and score eight. Yep - all eight were in their sole victory in that sequence, against Brighton.

Hopefully we will see some attacking verve from both sides at Brisbane Road this afternoon, as the hosts get us under way.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    A change for the visitors.

Nikita Parris, who has barely had a kick in the second period, is replaced by Martha Thomas.

  11. 'Hasegawa starting to dictate play'published at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Siobhan Chamberlain
Ex-England and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC 5 Live

We're getting to see the technical ability of Hasegawa now in that midfield area.

In the first half I think she was tasked more with marking Ella Toone and preventing Manchester United from creating opportunities.

Now she's getting on the ball and dictating play.

  12. 'Fans have been treated'published at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

Wow - look at that for an attendance.

These fans have been treated to high-quality football. It's the toss of a coin for a winner.

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    It is literally end-to-end now.

City come forward again and Lauren Hemp crosses into the box but Bunny Shaw can't direct her header towards goal.

How long can Hemp last? She has only played 20 minutes of football since 6 November.

  14. Postpublished at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Jess Anderson
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Well, I said that City needed to up the tempo and that is exactly what they have done.

The crowd have picked up as well, which I suspect is helping the home side rally.

Is there a winner in this?

  15. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    United's turn to press now.

Ella Toone runs at the City defence, releases Alessia Russo, who shields the ball well, before driving wide of the far post.

This is a great game now.

  16. 'United are annoyed'published at 13:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

That's lit a fire in Man United, hasn't it? You can see they're annoyed that they've conceded when they've done so well in this game.

It's game on. No more sitting off for United - back to chasing the win.

    City come again.

Bunny Shaw turns and releases Lauren Hemp down the left and her cross goes through to Chloe Kelly.

Her effort on the half-volley goes over the bar via a deflection, but a goal kick is given.

The noise levels have gone up a notch at the Etihad.

  18. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

I said it was all United since the equaliser.

    Not anymore.

A Chloe Kelly cross almost ends up in the back of the net, before a low ball from Lauren Hemp is skewed over the United bar by a defender.

    The hosts are pushing.

  19. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

The attendance has been announced as 44,259.

I suspect that is tickets sold - similarly to what we said at Old Trafford last week when they'd sold over 35,000 in the week but the attendance was closer to 30,000 - because there are a fair few empty seats.

  20. 'Coombs does really well'published at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Man City 1-1 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

Laura Coombs has been key for Manchester City this season. Millie Turner, who's had such an assured game, gets drawn further towards the near post because of the presence of Bunny Shaw.

It whistles past that post and Laura Coombs does really well to watch it and head it home. Ouahabi couldn't get across quickly enough.
