Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to Sky Sports, says: "We played an extremely good first half and in the second we put in a shift and did really well.
"We just kept fighting, it was a big passion. In the first half we were the better side and scored two wonderful goals. It's a long time ago since we won away in the Premier League so it was relief at the end.
"You need to learn winning again and that's how it starts, with massive resistance. It was clear they would come back but we came through it and it's all good."

Mohamed Salah struck twice in the first half as Liverpool secured their first away win in the Premier League this season with victory at Tottenham.
Liverpool had lost their two previous league games to struggling Nottingham Forest and Leeds United, so manager Jurgen Klopp will be delighted with this win at Spurs, who are shaping up as rivals for a place in the top four.
Salah was the inspiration, sweeping home a sharp left-foot finish from Darwin Nunez's pass after 11 minutes, then cashing in on Eric Dier's misplaced headed back-pass to double Liverpool's advantage with great composure five minutes before the break.
Spurs, without the injured Son Heung-min, were never out of the game as Ivan Perisic hit the woodwork either side of half-time before Harry Kane pulled one back with 20 minutes remaining.
But they failed to complete one of the comebacks that have become their trademark this season.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC Match of the Day:
"The win meant a lot today. I just let out a deep sigh. Massive game for us. Really really good first half and then a difficult second half. Tottenham takes all the risks when they are losing in the second half.
"It's a super intensive season. Because it's a while that we won an away game, we can't just think that everything will be fine. We know we have to fight. It's big for us. Two wins in a row, yes in different competitions.
"Southampton is our next league game and that is massive for us. We were really good so yes, let's carry on.
"I don't think we have a massive problem away from home. Yes Anfield is a huge plus for us. We won away games just in the Champions League. I'm really happy that we could tick the box of winning an away game in the Premier League.
On matchwinner Mo Salah being just three goals away from Kenny Dalglish in Liverpool's top goal scorers of all-time list: "Kenny Dalglish, Robbie Fowler, they probably had times where they didn't score. Mo will not stop, he is in the top eight scorers for Liverpool and he will not stop. When you look at Mo's stats, goals and assists, it's insane. For us he is always important and he proved that today with two massive goals."
England midfielder Kalvin Phillips has just posted a picture of him in the gym with fellow Manchester City man Erling Haaland.
Phillips has not played since mid September but still hopes to be in the Three Lions squad for the World Cup.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Tonight is very difficult to explain this defeat. Because in the first half I didn't have a lot to complain about with my players because of their will and desire. Their will to fight, be aggressive and fight in the first half.
"We scored in the second half and I think we deserved much more from this game. But we have to know when we play against this type of team, a top match, a top game, we have to have motivation. I can't complain about my players. I go to my house satisfied for the performance and the chances we created.
"Honestly, we are managing with many injuries, half and half. It is good to have this type of performance because we know we have to fight until the end to do well but it's a pity tonight. I repeat about the performance, I am really happy for what I have seen. Our fans despite the defeat, they have to enjoy the game for the will, the desire, for how we played the game.
"We had the possibility to put pressure onto Liverpool and we did. We tried to press and then a long ball comes in and we concede the second goal. We did well with the game plan that we prepared but now we are talking about a bad defeat. I don't know if it's positive to win badly or to lose playing well but we lost the game."

Liverpool
Liverpool defender Andy Robertson, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Today, first half was the best football we have played all season. We really controlled the game. Roberto Firmino, Thiago, Harvey Elliott all popped up and Spurs didn't know where they were or how to deal with us.
"Spurs are slow starters but we knew they would come back in the second half with the quality and the manager they have. We haven't won away from home this season and we had to dig deep. This was a massive three points for us.
"We know we have a duty to the lads around us and don't want to let them down and the whole squad had that spirit today. We controlled the game well in the last 10 minutes. Thankfully we've got our first away win.
"It was important to get that first way win. We just have to get those wins. We just have to focus on ourselves. We know we have been disappointing this season and below our usual standards so we are trying to get back to that.
"We are trying to get that feelgood factor back around Liverpool before we have the break. Hopefully the second part of the season will be big for us."

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, speaking to Sky Sports, says: "It is difficult to explain the defeat tonight, we deserved much more but also after the first half in the dressing room I was happy with the desire and what we did.
"We put a lot of pressure on Liverpool and were 2-0 down but we didn't know why. In the second half we played really well. Their goalkeeper made good saves and we hit the post and the crossbar. I think the result is unfair.
"It is difficult to explain this type of game. For sure the performance was good. We are managing a situation with many, many injuries and we need to find new solutions.
"This type of performance against a team like Liverpool gives me satisfaction as it shows the hard work works."

Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham goalscorer Harry Kane, speaking to Sky Sports, says: "It has been the story of our season so far - we haven't played well enough in the first half and got punished.
"We fought until the end and we knew if we got one back we would have chances to get a second but unfortunately we couldn't do it and it's disappointing.
"We need to be better at controlling games and we have to look back at this game but I don't think it was terrible, we just got punished with two clinical goals.
"In the second half we were the better team so we will not panic but we need to be better for sure."

Here's England right-back Kieran Trippier after helping Newcastle to a 4-1 win over Southampton.

Spurs should have gone for ten Hag when they had the chance. Daniel Levy's indulgent and ill-informed impulse purchase approach to appointing head coaches will never lead to success. He's a money man, not a football man.

Two-goal Mohamed Salah, speaking to Sky Sports, says: "I think we were lucky in the first half, we played quite good and managed to score two goals. In the second half we could've scored but were unlucky.
"We did well to get the three points. It is always a tough opponent. I'm focused on making a difference and managed to do so today.
"We managed to strike back a few times in the season, have played some good games."

Anon: Why do some Spurs fans want Conte gone? Easy. They've lost to every decent team they've players this season. The Champions League group was the easiest they could have asked for and they still struggled. Get him out now.

Tom McCarron: The reason we only conceded one in that second half was purely down to Ibou Konate. Excellent performance.

That win for Liverpool takes them from 10th to eighth, while Tottenham fail to regain the third place they lost when Newcastle beat Southampton 4-1 earlier today.

Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live
This Liverpool performance had a little bit of everything. It was the free flowing Liverpool that we have been accustomed to seeing over previous years but also that resoluteness. The strength and the character to see this game out.
The Spurs reaction was good, Antonio Conte will be pleased with his players. After being 2-0 down, they pushed and pushed and asked questions right until the very end.
Fortunately for Liverpool, they managed to get out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with three points and it was deserved.
Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool
Liverpool get their first away Premier League win of the season. They had to hang on at the end after Spurs had got one back in the second half through Harry Kane.
But two first-half goals from Mohamed Salah give Jurgen Klopp's side the three points.
