Kulusevski has been the change in this game. He is always looking to pass forward and his deliveries into the box are always on the money.

Not for the first time today, Ibrahima Konate gets a foot in to stop a cross getting to Harry Kane. Another opportunity drifts away for the hosts.

Off comes Mohamed Salah, who as it stands is the match winner. Spurs with three and a half minutes to change that. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on for only his second appearance of the season.

It was dying to be put in, it just drifts back Bentancur's forehead. I was almost off my seat trying to put it in!

A lot can happen in four minutes [injury time].

Bentancur...header...no. Just wide with a glancing header from Ivan Perisic's cross, with Harry Kane just inches away from converting.

Close, so close, but Liverpool survive and are still hanging on.

It speaks volumes, bringing off Nunez who has been a thorn in Tottenham's side. It shows how hard Liverpool are having to work for this result.

Andrew Priestley: Kulusevski is of massive importance to this Tottenham team. Their slump in form coincided with his time on the sidelines and just look at the difference in their attacking intent and movement when he entered the fray.

Darwin Nunez off and Joe Gomez on, striker off, defender on as Jurgen Klopp looks to maintain what he has got. Three minutes plus injury time to go.

No power on the header from Bentancur but it still needed saving. I make that Alisson's fourth very good save this evening.

Another chance for Tottenham, but Rodrigo Bentancur doesn't do much with his header and Alisson is able to get across and keep it out.

Darwin Nunez is through, he aims for the top-left corner and it bounces off the top of the bar, but it would've been offside anyway.

Ten minutes ish for Spurs to get something out of this.

Stevie B Esquire: Matt Doherty is twice the player Emerson Royal will ever be. Better defensively, better going forward. If he had a glamourous name like Matteo instead of Matt, it wouldn't even be up for debate.

Tobe Anoliefo: Somehow, I get the feeling that Liverpool will bottle this.

It's incredible to think that just a couple of changes to Spurs' formation and personnel can see the team so well and better balanced.

Lenglet crouches down and holds his head because he knows that was a big chance.

That could have been 2-2. Clement Lenglet, storming in at the near post to meet a left-wing corner, gets his head on it inside the six-yard box but can't keep it down and it flies over the top.

    That was a good chance.

We asked which team would finish higher in the Premier League this season (Tottenham represented by thumbs up, Liverpool with thumbs down) and the result from you is very clear.

Liverpool will finish higher this season, even though this result will leave them seven points behind Tottenham as it stands.

Lee: Some Spurs fans might delude themselves and say that we should be beating a Liverpool side that is 10th. I would simply remind them that we have Son, Moura, Kulusevski and Richarlison all injured or not fit enough to start. Getting anything from this was a big ask.

Jeff: Spurs have one truly world class player in Harry Kane and that's not enough to stay in the top four even with a top class manager.

Konate steps across Kane but yes, it's a coming together. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
