    Blackburn 1-2 Preston

Bradley Dack fires a cross along the right towards the onrushing Sam Gallagher.

But the Blackburn substitute is correctly flagged offside before he can race into the box.

The feel of this game has completely changed in a split second thanks to Dack's goal. But can Blackburn get another?

Ched Evans, meanwhile, tries to catch out Rovers keeper Thomas Kaminski from long range but he fires about 30 foot wide of the mark.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2022

    Blackburn 1-2 Preston

Well, Blackburn had been readying a triple change before Bradley Dack's goal and Dack was meant to come off.

That goal has saved him for now, however.

Sam Gallagher and Tyrhys Dolan come on in place of Sam Szmodics and Ben Brereton Diaz.

    Bradley Dack (55 mins)

    Game on!

Blackburn finally strike and it comes via a decent set of build-up from the hosts.

Hayden Carter plays a ball across the face of the Preston goal which looks too deep, but Ben Brereton Diaz lays it up to Bradley Dack who fires in from close range.

That's his first league goal at Ewood Park since March 2021.

    Rotherham 1-2 Bristol City

    It's all-go in this.

The home side look to level before the break but Dan Barlaser's shot is parried by Max O'Leary in the Bristol City goal.

Moments later Millers skipper Richard Wood becomes the first player to be shown a yellow card today.

  5. Postpublished at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2022

    Blackburn 0-2 Preston

Ben Whiteman dings a shot from outside the box at the end of a slick set of passing by Preston.

His effort goes narrowly wide, but it just sums up the visitors so far this afternoon.

Blackburn can't get a look in.

  6. Postpublished at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2022

    Blackburn 0-2 Preston

It's win or lose for Blackburn.

No, really. Rovers haven't drawn at all in the Championship so far under Jon Dahl Tomasson.

It's a long way back for the hosts today. Preston are dominating possession and Tomasson's side look short on confidence.

    Rotherham 1-2 Bristol City

The away side have a great chance to make it three!

Nahki Wells is played in behind the home defence by Alex Scott but Viktor Johansson does well to turn his powerful shot around the post.

    Joe Williams (31 mins)

I don't know what these pair did during the break but it doesn't seem like working on defending figured highly!

Tommy Conway's cross is parried by Viktor Johansson in the Millers goal and Joe Williams bundles in his second of the season from a couple of yards out.

  12. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 1-1 Bristol Citypublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2022

    Chiedozie Ogbene (25 mins)

    All-square!

Republic of Ireland forward Chiedozie Ogbene is enjoying a great season for the Millers and he heads the home side level from Brooke Norton-Cuffy's centre.

Seven goals in all competitions for him now, as many as he managed in 63 (?!) matches for club and country last season.

Conor Chaplin has glanced home his ninth goal of the season to put Ipswich ahead at home to Peterborough and take Town top of the pile in the live league table.

Ipswich have struggled to hold onto leads lately so home fans won't be sitting too comfortably, especially as Posh have an enviable record against the Tractor Boys, unbeaten in seven and winners of the last three.

The first half draws to a close at Ewood Park. Boos ring around from the home fans.

Ben Woodburn's goal is what separates these two teams, with Preston the better side across the 45 minutes so far.

Blackburn lost Callum Brittain early on, but they've looked off the pace. As it stands they're headed for a second Lancashire derby defeat in a row.

It didn't take Bolton long to get back on terms at Shrewsbury. Leading scorer Dion Charles has his eighth goal of the season to make it 1-1 after 13 minutes.

Wanderers have won nine of the last 11 meetings between the two sides and know another win today could see them into fourth.

  20. Postpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Preston

Ben Brereton Diaz goes down under pressure from Greg Cunningham as the Blackburn man goes into the box.

He calls for a penalty but referee Josh Smith says nothing doing.

I think that's the right decision but it was daring for Cunningham to go in under pressure.
