What a start for Shrewsbury at home to Bolton.
The hosts are ahead inside two minutes and it's a first Salop goal for Rob Street who turns in a low cross from Jordan Shipley.
Rotherham 0-0 Bristol City
Rotherham have settled the quicker here, which is probably not much of a shock given Bristol City's poor run of form prior to the break.
The Robins are without a win since 18 October, six games ago in all competitions.
Blackburn 0-1 Preston
Hayden Carter goes into the book for Blackburn for a challenge on Ched Evans.
There's some pretty robust tackles going in this afternoon, not least by Ben Whiteman in the build-up to Carter being shown the yellow card.
Blackburn 0-1 Preston
Blackburn have a shot from outside the Preston box and it comes via Ryan Hedges.
However he belts a swinging shot which goes high and wide and into the jeering Preston fans behind the goal.
Rotherham 0-0 Bristol City
We're under way at the New York Stadium in the second Championship game of the day.
Ipswich v Peterborough and Shrewsbury v Bolton have also started in League One.
Lots of staggered kick-offs today to accommodate for some World Cup game later.
Blackburn 0-1 Preston
Ben Whiteman fires goalbound as Preston keep pressing for a second goal.
It fails to trouble Blackburn keeper Thomas Kaminski but the visitors keep the ball alive, with the ball pinballing around the Rovers box.
There's a sense of frustration now from the home fans, here.
Blackburn 0-1 Preston
The snow has eased off a bit at Ewood Park now. So has the intensity, somewhat.
We're approaching the half-hour mark and Blackburn have yet to properly threaten Preston, who are worthy of their lead.
12:30 GMT, 14:00 and 15:00 kick-offs
A bumper crowd is packed in at Portman Road this lunchtime as Ipswich seek the point they need, or ideally all three, to take over at the top of the table… for at least a couple of hours, that is!
Peterborough make the trip east knowing a win for them could take them fourth, so long as they better Bolton’s result at Shrewsbury in the other 12:30 GMT kick-off.
Derby are another side who could finish the day in fourth, depending on other results. They get under way in their crunch clash with Burton at 14:00 GMT, while another local rivalry renews at the same time as Forest Green try to edge closer to safety at the foot of the table at home to Cheltenham.
Fellow strugglers MK Dons and Fleetwood face-off at 15:00 GMT while Bristol Rovers host Port Vale, Lincoln entertain Wycombe and leaders Plymouth head to lowly Cambridge and third-placed Sheffield Wednesday are at Exeter in the division's only other games to beat the weather today.
Accrington v Portsmouth, Morecambe v Charlton and Oxford v Barnsley are the three League One fixtures to be postponed due to the weather.
Blackburn 0-1 Preston
Ched Evans tries to work a header away from a long Preston ball into the Blackburn box.
Thomas Kaminski catches what turns out to be a tame effort from the North End striker, but it's yet another attack from the visitors.
Blackburn look off the pace at the minute.
Rotherham v Bristol City (12:30 GMT)
Rotherham skipper Richard Wood and Arsenal loanee Brooke Norton-Cuffy both return to the Millers starting XI.
Bristol City are without defender Zak Vyner and wing-back Jay Dasilva through illness. Kai Naismith returns to the XI for the first time since 4 October. Antoine Semenyo is on the bench after representing Ghana in two games at the World Cup.
Rotherham: Johansson, Harding, Wood, Peltier, Norton-Cuffy, Barlaser, Lindsay, Rathbone, Bramall, Wiles, Ogbene.
Subs: Vickers, McCart, Odoffin, High, Kelly, Washington, Eaves.
Bristol City: O'Leary, Tanner, King, Naismith, Pring, Williams, James, Scott, Weimann, Conway, Wells.
Subs: Bentley, Atkinson, Martin, Semenyo, Sykes, Bell, Kadji.
Ben Woodburn (17 mins)
Deadlock broken!
Ryan Ledson works onto a loose ball and swiftly plays through to Ched Evans.
Blackburn's defence fail to pick up Ben Woodburn, who races into space on the edge of the box and onto the end of a delivery by Evans.
He then dinks the ball over Rovers keeper Thomas Kaminski with a classy and cool finish.
A great start for Preston. A nightmare for the hosts.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Blackburn win a corner which is sent into the Preston box by Tyler Morton.
But the visitors put Rovers under pressure and it's headed away for a goal kick.
We're a quarter of an hour into this match now.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Ryan Hedges puts in a boot on Greg Cunningham, giving Preston another free-kick in a useful area just outside the Blackburn box.
Daniel Johnson plays it into the box again and Jordan Storey immediately loses possession.
A waste.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Ched Evans has just slipped as he tried to work onto a Blackburn back pass to keeper Thomas Kaminski.
Looks like the snow and freezing conditions may be having an effect already.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Daniel Johnson plays the free-kick across the face of the Blackburn box and in towards Liam Lindsay.
Lindsay, who looks offside to me, sends the ball into a crowded box, but the visitors are judged to have committed a foul before they can force a shot on goal.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Snow is falling pretty heavily now at Ewood Park.
I wonder if this will affect the game if the conditions worsen.
Meanwhile, Bradley Dack concedes a free-kick to Preston for a push into the back of Ryan Ledson. It's in a dangerous area, too.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Callum Brittain's afternoon is over. He's replaced by Clinton Mola.
A bit of a nightmare start for Blackburn, here.
Blackburn 0-0 Preston
Five minutes into the game here and it looks like Blackburn are going to be forced into a change.
Callum Brittain can't continue after that incident with Ryan Ledson earlier.
He's walking cautiously from the field with the physio.
