    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

The second half has been pretty much like the first, with Aberdeen pressing forward but unable to apply the finishing touch. That said, County have been better since the break and will still fancy their chances of taking something from this game.

  2. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski attempts his second overhead kick of the match, and this time he isn't too far away, flashing the ball across the face of goal.

  3. Postpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Hearts 2-0 Hibernian

Finally, a spark for Hibs as the capital sky begins to darken in the derby.

Elie Youan ghosts in from the left and picks out Kevin Nisbet, who swivels and strikes, but sees his shot defiantly blocked by Alex Cochrane.

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

Ross Callachan produces a lovely turn and shot for Ross County, but it's right down the throat of Aberdeen goalkeeper Kelle Roos.

But the visitors have shown more of an attacking threat in this half, even if it still has been fleeting.

  5. Postpublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United

Another sight of goal for the visitors.

Tony Watt comes onto a high ball in the centre of St Johnstone's penalty area, but skews his attempted shot high and wide.

  6. Saints ring the changespublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Sensing his side has a totally new momentum, a triple change from home manager Callum Davidson.

He sends for David Wotherspoon, Cammy MacPherson and Connor McLennan. Game on now. This is turning into a proper derby after all.

  7. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Hearts 2-0 Hibernian

A rather frustrated looking Lee Johnson is beckoning his Hibs players up the park.

They've offered much the same as they did in the first period, which was very little.

  8. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Livingston 1-1 Motherwell

Stephane Omeonga is on for Dylan Bahamboula as Livingston probe for a lead.

Steven Bradley has been very impressive since coming on for the Lions.

  9. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United

You get the feeling that this game was destined to be a 0-0.

United look to be in on goal, but Ian Harkes takes far too long on the ball, allows the hosts to scramble back, and the chance evaporates.

  10. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Aberdeen 0-0 Ross County

The second half is following the same story as the first - constant Aberdeen pressure but little end product to test Ross County goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw.

If scores remain as they are Aberdeen would fall five points behind third-place Hearts who would also have a game in hand. Ross County too would stay the bottom of the Premiership. Both sides need a goal.

  11. Postpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren

St Mirren have enjoyed a bit of momentum in the last five minutes, but the last chance goes to Kilmarnock.

Again, it's Danny Armstrong trying to curl into the top corner but this one is from outside the box and it's well over.

  12. Postpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United

St Johnstone's best chance of the game goes begging.

Daniel Phillips reads the play well, nicks the ball away from Scott McCann, but then shanks his shot wide from the edge of the box.

Stevie May was screaming for a pass to Phillips' left.

  13. Postpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Livingston 1-1 Motherwell

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Sport Scotland

That chance for Motherwell has certainly woken up the travelling support. In the stand across from me the drums are sounding courtesy of the 'Motherwell Bois'.

This half has started rather nicely, with both teams looking up for it.

  14. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Hearts 2-0 Hibernian

Time for Hearts to make their own double change as Andy Halliday limps off with a knock, alongside Michael Smith, with Nathaniel Atkinson and Alan Forrest entering the fray.

The Jambos are cruising in the derby.

  15. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Hearts 2-0 Hibernian

Aiden McGeady looking to cause some problems following his introduction to the derby.

He attempts to evade Michael Smith high on the left, who swipes him down and bags a booking in the process.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Livingston 1-1 Motherwell

Kevin van Veen rattles the crossbar from close range... a huge chance.

Quite the tempo to this second half already.

  17. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Hearts 2-0 Hibernian

Unsurprisingly, Lee Johnson turns to his bench and the Hibs manager has hooked his two noteworthy inclusions ahead of kick-off.

Will Fish and Harry McKirdy are off, in place of Aiden McGeady and Kyle Magennis.

Josh Campbell immediately puts in a crunching tackle at the start of the half, earning himself a place in the referee's book.

  18. A half-time rocket from Davidson?published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Already in the first couple of minutes of the second half, St Johnstone appear more 'at it'. The home drummer is pounding out a steady beat for the home fans to belt out a fair noise.

I wonder if the players' ears are still ringing from a bit of a half-time managerial talking to?

  19. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Livingston 1-1 Motherwell

New signing from Hibs Steven Bradley is on for Livingston in place of Cristian Montano who suffered that head knock.

  20. Postpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2023

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren

Kilmarnock have started the second half brightly, with Blair Alston and Ben Chrisene seeing shots blocked behind.

St Mirren have gotten up the pitch occasionally, but similarly, there has been very little quality in and around the box.
