Manchester United have had twice as many efforts on goal to Everton (16 to eight) and more of the play overall. There'll be kicking themselves if they let their lead slip in the closing minutes.

Fantastic recovery run from Ben Godfrey. Not many can catch Marcus Rashford when he is in full flow and then a perfectly timed tackle as well.

150 seconds left and the ball is in the corner in front of the Stretford End.

Marcus Rashford in to win it for United, brilliant sliding challenge from Ben Godfrey in the box.

Had to get that spot on and he did.

The delivery drifts right to back of the box for Ben Godfrey, who takes it down and clips a cross to the back post.

But United defend it well and escape any danger.

    Man Utd 2-1 Everton

Plenty of time for Everton to salvage the tie.

Harry Maguire's impact so far has been to give away two of the three passes he's attempted.

Not ideal when you're trying to play yourself into a game that your side has a narrow lead in.

That's not a great tackle. He's slid in, caught him on the end of his foot and Martinez's studs are stuck in the ground.

Onana has got to improve because he makes a lot of lunges and that gets him a lot of yellow cards - and if he gets it wrong, reds. You can't fault his effort but he needs to be careful.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 89 mins

    Man Utd 2-1 Everton

Marcus Rashford, bang in form, wants another goal to continue his fine run.

He laces a 25 yard free-kick with England team-mate Jordan Pickford has to acrobatically tip over.

Amadou Onana with a late challenge on Lisandro Martinez, catching the Argentine on top of the boot and getting a yellow card.

Excellent defending from little Lisandro Martinez, putting his body in between the ball and Ben Godfrey as it rolls out of play for a goal kick.

Manny: Man United seem to either be playing beautiful football or awful football, and nothing in between. It's clear that they still aren't there yet, but you can see sparks of where they could be if Ten Hag is backed by the club.

The shape of the Everton side hasn't changed with those changes. They've replaced two full-backs for two attacking wingers to play wing-back. An attacking move from Frank Lampard.

    Shut up shop time.

Christian Eriksen and goalscorer Antony are off.

Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay are the ones to come on.
