Is there something in this for the home side?
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Unai Emery is aggressively pacing his technical area.
He knows his side are close. This would be his third victory as Villa boss and two wins from two on the road.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Yet more substitutions. Last throw of the dice now for Antonio Conte.
Ivan Perisic and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg make way for Oliver Skipp and Djed Spence.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Spurs have lacked creativity and haven't been able to do anything with their set pieces either.
Another wasteful corner.

The ball went out but it doesn't mean that it wasn't a foul. The referee has taken the easy option there because it was a foul from Romero so obviously he doesn't deem it to be bad enough for him to book him for that as well.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
That is a very heavy challenge on Philippe Coutinho from Cristian Romero, who is already on a yellow card.
The ball went out of play and the assistant referee had already flagged it before the challenge. I think he's probably got away with one there.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Aston Villa have a corner and it's swung in my Lucas Digne but doesn't beat the first man and Spurs have the chance to get something going.
Once again they're lacking intensity though and it's given away again for an Aston Villa free-kick.
After starting it quite brightly, Spurs haven't had a single shot on target this half.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
After those changes we have around eight minutes plus added time to go.
Have Spurs got anything to offer?

Adam: A lot of Spurs fans are anxious if Conte will sign a new contract! I am worried he will!!
Matty: This is a horrendous performance from Spurs. No effort and no tactics. The players look like they have New Years hangovers. Feels like a manager ending performance.
Callum: Spurs fan wanting back a coach who couldn't win the French league with PSG and repeatedly bottled trophies for them is the most Spursy thing I've heard in a while.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Yves Bissouma and Matt Doherty make way for Pape Sarr and Emerson Royal.
Unai Emery is also making some changes. On come Danny Ings, Jan Bednarek and Calum Chambers in place of Douglas Luiz, Emiliano Buendia and Ezri Konsa.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Douglas Luiz wants another!
Matty Cash does well to put Ryan Sessegnon under pressure by the corner flag and Emiliano Buendia is backing him up to pick up Sessegnon's attempted clearance.
He lays it off for Luiz who hammers a shot off but it's caught easily by Hugo Lloris.

Conte is the problem. Needs ready made players. Spurs not improving as individuals or as a team. Please get Poch back ASAP so we can enjoy our football again.
Broken Spurs fan
Conte has to go while Poch is still available, this is the worst football in 30 years of watching us.

There's a desperate feel to the game from Spurs. You can feel the frustration from the fans. They are just not on point at the moment.
Kulusevski has been missed, he has been a great signing for the club and certainly someone they could have done with today.
Tottenham 0-2 Aston Villa
Well there's 15 minutes or so of this game left and it feels like a tough task for even Spurs to get back into it.
But you never know.
Nottingham Forest v Chelsea (16:30 GMT)
Nottingham Forest make two changes from their 3-0 defeat at Manchester United on Tuesday.
Dean Henderson replaces Wayne Hennessy in goal, after being ineligible against his parent club.
Attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White returns from injury to replace Jesse Lingard, who has failed to recover from the knock that forced him off during Tuesday's loss.
Nottingham Forest XI: Henderson, Aurier, Worrall, Boly, Lodi, Yates, Freuler, Mangala, Johnson, Awoniyi, Gibbs-White.
Subs: Hennessey, Cook, Williams, Colback, O'Brien, Toffolo, Surridge, Dennis, McKenna.
Chelsea make one change from their 2-0 win over Bournemouth on the same night.
Reece James, who suffered another knee injury in that game, is replaced by Cesar Azpilicueta at right-back.
That means striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang again has to settle for a place on the bench, with Kai Havertz, who scored the opening goal on Tuesday, preferred up front.
Chelsea XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Koulibaly, Thiago Silva, Cucurella, Zakaria, Jorginho, Mount, Sterling, Havertz, Pulisic.
Subs: Bettinelli, Kovacic, Aubameyang, Chalobah, Ziyech, Gallagher, Chukwuemeka, Hutchinson, Hall.

That's an absolutely brilliant goal from Aston Villa. Great ball from McGinn, that was absolutely sublime. Forward passes into feet.
Douglas Luiz does really well. He is under pressure from the defender and then he just flicks it with the outside of the boot into the back of the net. Really good goal.
Douglas Luiz (73 mins)
Oh dear.
I was just typing that Aston Villa look the more likely at the moment and there we go.
It's sloppy from Spurs - Ollie Watkins wins the ball back high up the pitch and John McGinn's cross is inch perfect.
Douglas Luiz makes his run and it's a simple finish in the end.

There's quite a bit of frustration among the Spurs players. That's pretty much been the way that Spurs have been in this entire game.
Tottenham 0-1 Aston Villa
Tyrone Mings hoofs a ball down field but gives it away.
Ivan Perisic releases Son Heung-min but the South Korea forward is just offside.
Time is ticking.
