It is starting to feel as if it might be Arsenal's year, isn't it?
Manchester City really need to put in one of those juggernaut winning runs if they're going to catch them now.

Arsenal thoroughly deserve it. They did all the work in the first half. They were outstanding. Tottenham were nowhere near it in the first half.
Conte can say they were brilliant but Arsenal have a brilliant goalie in Ramsdale who makes crucial saves.
That was the difference for me in the second half. Professional performance from Arsenal. They look the sign of champions at the moment.
Spurs 0-2 Arsenal
This is Arsenal's biggest lead at the top in the Premier League table (with the same amont of games played) since they won their last title in 2004.
Still feels weird that it's over 18 years since their last title.

Arsenal have done well and credit where it is due. But I want to see how they respond to a couple of losses and injuries or suspensions (to key players) before I join the others in getting too excited.

What people are prone to forget is that Manchester City have the depth of squad and special talents to go the distance in the Premiership and Champions League. I'm a Gooner and I am really enjoying the ride, while preparing for disappointment come late April.

It's all over.
Arsenal go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table thanks to a fully deserved derby win at Tottenham.
Spurs improved a bit from a torrid first half but they still weren't good enough.

One minute to go. Arsenal fans can probably relax now...

Nicholas Walker: Not throwing the season away just yet but if Spurs finish outside of the top four, I think a reset is in order. Sell Kane, Son, Lloris, let Conte move on and focus on a solid rebuild.

Ridiculous how people are claiming Arsenal “already” deserve the title, or “will be champions” if they draw with City. We’re not even halfway through the season! You have to factor in form, pressure, injuries, momentum, even fortune. This race is nowhere near finished. City were further adrift with six games left in 2012. Newcastle were nearly twice as far ahead in February 1996! People never learn, it seems.

I have a crazy idea: instead of writing Arsenal's name on the trophy right now, why don't we play the other half of the season and see where we are in four-to-five months' time?

Huge mix-up there. Son Heung-min tries to find Ivan Perisic on the overlap but Perisic has his hands up in the air and has stopped looking, as if he's given up on Son passing to him. The ball runs out for a goal-kick.

Let’s be brutally honest here, the Arsenal squad, just like the Newcastle squad, are just good with a couple of quality players - nothing particularly stand-out about them. What a difference a good manager makes. Hats off to Arteta and Howe.
