I think the pattern is set already. Arsenal stroking the ball around in the Everton half, the home players taking in turns to come out and meet their man to hold them at bay.

The Everton fans enjoyed that Vitaliy Mykolenko challenge on Martin Odegaard.
Sean Dyche did ask for some passion for wearing the shirt before the game.

Gabriel Martinelli against Seamus Coleman in a race doesn't seem all that fair, but the latter uses all his experience to shoulder into the former and ease him out of play before he can get a cross in.

Andy: Why are people constantly defending Kenwright? He doesn’t need the money, so at best he has sat there and watched the complete mismanagement of the club. At worst he is complicit. He could resign in protest but won’t, speaks volumes.
Everton 0-0 Arsenal
Vitaliy Mykolenko flies into a foul on Martin Odegaard and it receives another big roar. Signs of commitment at the very least.
Everton 0-0 Arsenal
We're very much in 4-5-1 territory for Everton, with Amadou Onana the ma from midfield who will try to venture a bit further forward.
Everton 0-0 Arsenal
A roar from the home fans to start the game.
How long will they stay optimistic for? Arsenal immediately get on the front foot, but Everton see off the first threat.
Everton 0-0 Arsenal
Amazingly, this is Arsenal's sixth visit on the trot to this ground where they have faced a new manager - Ronald Koeman to Sean Dyche.
The Gunners are chasing the title, the Toffees are just looking for the tiniest glimmer of hope.
We are under way...

For the latest round of Premier League predictions, Chris Sutton is up against against DJ and Newcastle fan Schak.
Sutton's prediction: 0-2
Arsenal rested a few players in their FA Cup tie against Manchester City and paid the price.
They still played pretty well at Etihad Stadium though and I think they have had a really good window - signing Jorginho, Cedric Trossard and Jakub Kiwior to strengthen their squad for their title push.
Everton, in contrast, did not sign anyone and it looks like their new manager Sean Dyche has got a huge job on his hands to keep them up - he's actually lost a player, with Antony Gordon moving to Newcastle.
We know the Goodison Park crowd will get behind the team and, the way that Dyche manages, he will be trying to extract every last ounce of effort out of his players.
So, the endeavour will be there, but I still don't see Everton getting a win or even managing a draw.
Arsenal are just far too good for them and, as I said on the Monday Night Club, getting the Everton job now is like being made captain of the Titanic, a couple of hours after it hit the iceberg.
Schak's prediction: Arsenal are going to turn them over - I think Everton are a sinking ship. 0-3

Everton v Arsenal (12:30 GMT)
Martin Odegaard has scored more Premier League away goals than any other Arsenal player this season (6).
He's netted in each of his last three on the road, with Olivier Giroud the last Gunners player to score in four in a row (September-November 2015).
Everton v Arsenal (12:30 GMT)
New Everton manager Sean Dyche has only lost more Premier League games against Man City (11) than he has against Arsenal (10).
However, after losing each of his first nine league games against the Gunners, he's lost just one of his last five against them (W1 D3).
Everton v Arsenal (12:30 GMT)
Arsenal's last three Premier League away games have seen them win 2-0 (vs Wolves), 4-2 (vs Brighton) and 2-0 (vs Tottenham). The Gunners haven't won four consecutive away league games by at least two goals since October 1953.
Everton v Arsenal (12:30 GMT)
Arsenal have won 99 of their 202 league games against Everton (D43 L60) and could become the first team in English league history to register 100 wins against a specific opponent.
However, Everton have won their last two home league games against Arsenal, last winning three in a row against the Gunners at Goodison Park between March 1977 and August 1978.
Last season, Demarai Gray struck a belter of a goal to win the game for the Toffees.

The cameras at Goodison Park keep picking out fans in the crowd. Not one of them looks like they want to be there.

Michael Brown believes the arrival of Sean Dyche "will give Everton a lift" even if they are unable to get any new players in before the transfer window closes.
Dyche's appointment was confirmed on Monday, but that only left him a day-and-a-half to make any new additions.
With only a few hours left, it seems unikely there will be any late signings to bolster a survival push.
"I'm slightly concerned," he said. "Why did they not confirm it until yesterday? He will know exactly what he needs but what can you do?
"With the players they have, Everton should be in a better situation and I think the new manager bounce will give them a lift.
"From the first training session yesterday, those players will know things have changed."
Dyche's pedigree as an overachieving boss at Burnley should give him some kudos with the players, but Brown does accept he will need to win others over with his methods.
"Half of the players will be right up for it but the other half he might need to convince," he said. "He will need to show them with his training methods the value of getting fitter and playing the percentages.
"Even the value of playing 4-4-2 if that's what he is thinking of doing."
West Ham striker Michail Antonio has done his homework on Everton after asking on the Footballer's Football Podcast last week why fans were frustrated with the ownership.
Speaking on this week's episode, and given the Toffees' lack of activity in the transfer window, Antonio says he understands their concerns and hopes new manager Sean Dyche will be the solution.
"I've been doing my research," he said. "They have spent money but there's been no real organisation and it's been very scattergun. Fans don't feel there has been a strategy to make the club better.
"But there are some quality players there - they have just gone stale - and hopefully a new manager will be the thing that works out.
"They need to impress their new boss and play well to make sure they play for the rest of the season.
"Maybe their best signing actually is the new manager."
New Everton manager Sean Dyche is trying to "protect" the board that is working above him.
That is the view of former Everton midfielder Don Hutchison, who feels Dyche is doing so "because he's only been through the door five minutes".
Dyche spoke to the media for the first time as Everton manager on Thursday and said that the club did "work hard" to try and sign players in January.
Hutchison feels that Dyche is being honest and told BBC Radio 5 Live: "The window's been open for a month, so you would like to think all the hard work got done before Sean Dyche got there.
"It’s not just a 24 hour thing, so I think he’s trying to protect a bit the guys that are working above him because he's only been through the door five minutes."
The Englishman's first game in charge will be a tough test against league leaders Arsenal on Saturday, but Hutchison feels "simplicity" will help the side.
He added: "It’s actually quite easy for the players to get on board with [4-2-2]. Hopefully they can take that to try and intimidate Arsenal at the weekend because they can’t out-football Arsenal that’s for sure."
After a number of protests in recent weeks, the former Scotland international thinks the Everton fans need to "put the boycotts to one side for a few games".
"The most important thing is that Everton stay in the Premier League, that is the most important thing so everyone has to be together," added Hutchison.

They've knocked the pre-match siren off, and my oh my let the other teams in the league know the Everton board have now put the white flags out.
What a catastrophic window.
It’s inconceivable that at 19th in the league Everton are weaker than when this window started, the only club not to make a signing. It's shameful and complete negligence.
Sold Richarlison, no replacement. Sold Anthony Gordon, no replacement. It's not rocket science... Frank Lampard voiced it and got the sack!
It's marginally comforting to know Sean Dyche loves a challenge. The man needs a miracle. If by some divine intervention he avoids relegation, they won't call him Sean in Liverpool anymore, they'll call him the Messiah.
