  1. Myslovic on bench for unchanged Donspublished at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Rangers v Aberdeen (15:00)

Perhaps not surprisingly, Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin sticks with the starting XI that eased aside St Johnstone 2-0 at Pittodrie last weekend.

It means that new signing Patrik Myslovic, the 21-year-old Slovakia Under-21 midfielder who has arrived on loan from Zilina, has to make do with a place on the bench after receiving international clearance.

  2. Morelos & McGregor start, Colak & Sands missingpublished at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Rangers v Aberdeen (15:00)

Rangers manager Michael Beale had rated Antonio Colak "touch and go" to be fit for Hampden and the Croat is a no-show in the match-day squad.

It means a start up front for Alfredo Morelos in one of two changes from last weekend's 2-0 win away to Dundee United.

Allan McGregor replaces fellow veteran Jon McLaughlin in goal in the other switch.

Utility man James Sands was a "massive doubt" with a muscle injury and the New York City man is another absentee on the bench.

  3. Giakoumakis in focus as Celtic progresspublished at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    FT: Celtic 2-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock gave Celtic a bit of a scare before Ange Postecoglou's League Cup holders secured a 2-0 win thanks to a fortunate Daizen Maeda opener and a stoppage-time settler from Giorgos Giakoumakis.

The latter came moments after the Greek striker was involved in an incident in his own penalty box that Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes insisted should have resulted in a spot kick.
