Midfielder Stephen Kelly fires over from just outside the penalty box while striker Bruce Anderson heads over from close range as Livingston look to draw level.

Dundee United are getting a bit frustrated. Kieran Freeman was booked moments ago for a late challenge on Jake Service and the home support simply hasn't seen the frequency of chances they would've been hoping for.

Big shouts from Motherwell for a penalty as Cammy Gill comes flying out to dive at the feet of the in-rushing Blair Spittal. However, the Arbroath shot stopper seems to time the challenge perfectly.

Livingston have a chance of an equaliser after winning a free-kick just outside the Stenny penalty box.

However, after a big build-up, midfielder Andrew Shinnie sends it high and wastefully into the terracing behind the goal.

The League 2 side race up the other end and only a good interception from visiting centre-half Jack Fitzwater relieves the danger.

Kilmarnock 0-0 Dumbarton

Dumbarton midfielder David Wilson shows a beautiful touch to turn, a la Zidane, under pressure from Alan Power. The Killie man provides an industrial response to the moment of art on the halfway line, booting Wilson on the leg.

Another save from Jamie Sneddon keeps Thistle on level terms. This time he denies Craig Wighton with an impressive reflex stop.

A St Mirren free-kick is whipped just over the crossbar by Ryan Strain, but there has been very little else to write home about.

Here come Dundee as the ball falls perfectly for Max Anderson, but Scott Tanser slides in to make a perfectly timed block.

We've got two decent sides who are going hammer and tongs trying to get into the next round of the Scottish Cup. Generally speaking there's not much going on, but the longer that goes on, Dundee will fancy their chances at nicking one.

Liam Polworth causes panic in the Dumbarton box as the Kilmarnock midfielder's cross invites a finishing touch but none is applied and the visitors clear the danger. Moments later Daniel Armstrong plays a one-two but curls his left-footed shot over the bar. He looks full of confidence playing out on the right wing.

Rory MacLeod flashes a shot wide of the University of Stirling goal. Great technique from the United youngster, he just couldn't get it on target.

It's the first decent chance of the match at Rugby Park as Kilmarnock defender Joe Wright gets on the end of a cross by Daniel Armstrong but stabs it over Brett Long's crossbar.

Still no score at Gayfield, but the hosts are starting to build a bit of momentum. Thomas O'Brien is thwarted from close range as the ball is cleared over the Motherwell bar, while Motherwell are struggling to find their groove on a pitch that may well resemble the national stadium by full time.
