  1. VAR anyone?published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Dundee United 0-0 University of Stirling

James Stokes goes down right on the edge of the Dundee United penalty area, prompting a bit of commotion in the University of Stirling end. The player made no real appeal for a spot-kick as play continued.

Remember, no VAR at any of these three o'clock matches...

  2. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Stenhousemuir 0-0 Livingston

As you would expect, being the Premiership side, Livingston are dominating possession at Ochilview.

But there have been few chances created as League 2 hosts Stenhousemuir doggedly defend their penalty box.

  3. goal

GOAL Alloa Athletic 1-0 Falkirkpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Luke Donnelly

The Wasps are first to strike in the three o'clock starts.

Luke Donnelly is quickest to the rebound after a shot from Ross MacIver is saved.

  4. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee

Dundee keeper Adam Legzdins has made two comfortable saves - one from a Scott Tanser free-kick and then a long-range Mark O'Hara curler.

The Buddies have started well, with Dundee not troubling the St Mirren back-line so far.

  5. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Partick Thistle 0-0 Dunfermline Athletic

Thistle goalie Jamie Sneddon needs to look lively to keep out a shot from Kyle MacDonald.

  6. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Dundee United 0-0 University of Stirling

Dundee United have another effort cleared off the line as Steven Fletcher tries to find the net but the striker is penalised for handball.

  7. Postpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dumbarton

Daniel Armstrong, Kerr McInroy and Fraser Murray are seeing a lot of the ball in midfield for Kilmarnock, all of it in terms of attacking play as they try to pick out Kyle Lafferty and Scott Robinson in attack. So far, so good for Division Two leaders Dumbarton, though, as they try to settle in to the game.

  8. OFF THE LINE!published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Dundee United 0-0 University of Stirling

Almost an opener for Dundee United as Charlie Mulgrew's header was cleared off the line and the visitors clear when Danny Graham attempts to hammer in the rebound.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Arbroath 0-0 Motherwell

Motherwell have the ball in the net but it's quickly ruled out. Stuart McKinstry crowbars the ball over the line after Cammy Gill spills a cross. To be fair to the Arbroath goalkeeper, he was clattered by Mikael Mandron.

  10. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Dundee United 0-0 University of Stirling

Dundee United's Jamie McGrath tries to escape Marcus Lavery as University of Stirling try their utmost to close down their Scottish Premiership hosts.

It's going to be a tiring 90 minutes for the students but they're giving it a good go so far.

  11. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee

This looks nasty for Tyler French. The Dundee midfielder has been down for a long time after a collision with Alex Gogic. He's getting oxygen and there's a stretcher waiting to carry him off. Max Anderson will be his eventual replacement.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Arbroath 0-0 Motherwell

It's been a bit frantic at a packed Gayfield but it's the visitors who go closest first. Arbroath fail to clear the ball, and Blair Spittal scuds a shot from the edge of the area which flies just by the post and ruffles the side-netting.

  13. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Dundee United 0-0 University of Stirling

A moment to get the visiting fans on their feet as Jason Jarvis gets a shot away for University of Stirling but it's an easy save for Dundee United stopper Mark Birighitti.

  17. Blaney starts, other new boys waitpublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Shane Blaney, the centre-half signed from Sligo Rovers, makes his Motherwell debut at Gayfield today.

Dominican Republic centre-back Luiyi de Lucas only makes the Livingston bench after completing his move from Finnish top-flight club Haka.

There could also be a debut from the bench for hosts Stenhousemuir, who signed midfielder Kian Spiers on loan from Motherwell this morning.

Dundee have striker Kwame Thomas, signed on loan from Sutton United, on the bench away to St Mirren.

Meanwhile, two on-loan goalkeepers are likely to have to wait for their debuts as they start on the bench at Indodrill Stadium, with Wesh Ham United's Brian Kinnear joining Falkirk on loan yesterday and Forfar Athletic's Scott Gallacher moving to Alloa Athletic ahead of the derby game.
