A reminder that Manchester United will now play Newcastle in the final on 26 February at Wembley Stadium.
Before then, Manchester United have two Premier League games against rivals Leeds United, a Europa League double-header against Barcelona, as well as league matches against Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
A pretty decent month.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper speaking at a media conference: "[Emmanuel Dennis' shot] hit Sam Surridge, it was going in. Manchester United have been better than us and deserve to go through but there were a couple of ricochets that didn’t go our way.
"We have got to a semi-final and how many clubs would love to be on the stage we have - for the first time in over 30 years.
"I am so pleased supporters have been able to walk up to a stadium and see their side in the semi-final.
"This time last year we were mid-table in the Championship trying to break into the play-off places. It tells us the club is on an upward trajectory."
On Dean Henderson's injury/Kaylor Navas' arrival: "Maybe long enough to think we needed a goalkeeping department who could compete but Dean is not long-term and is working very hard.
"When he is available we will see where he is at but that is elite-squad football and when we get some of our guys back from injury, I will want that. There will always be a group of players that won’t be our favourite person in the world."

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live:
"Over two legs it was good but the first half wasn't great today. It's obvious the second half today was better. The first half was too slow and too low tempo. Second half I was happier, there was more tempo and more movement. we created chances so we won 5-0 over two legs and that was ok."
On the triple changes: "We could do that and it was also for the future, the games that are coming up and to rest others because we need energy. Everywhere but definitely in the front line if you want to score goals and the tempo was higher as in the first half."
On reaching the final: "It's great but you play finals to win. It is not an achievement to come into a final. We want to win them but first we have other things to do. We come back to the Premier League and bury this cup."
On the busy schedule: "There is an advantage because you can improve game to game and then you set standards and work on improvements. You can give the players feedback and show the players where they have to improve and bring that into the next game."
On Jadon Sancho's return: "I thought it was great that the fans gave him love. I think he enjoyed it to be back on the pitch. He has been smiling in the last few weeks in Carrington. I hope he can keep this process going and of course that he has a huge contribution to the season."

More from Steve Cooper speaking to Sky Sports: "We try to play a certain way in every single game no matter who you play against. We are trying to play with an identity including work-rate and values we want.
"It's how you become something you want to be. There was lots of aspects we did well, lots we need to improve on. I didn't like the turnovers again so we need to look at that.
"The club is on the up and we need to keep fighting to represent them like we do.
"It's one step at a time. We're still building that and there will be ups and downs. We won't look too far ahead. We have Leeds at home next and we won't look past that. We know what we're focusing on and what our motivation is."
On Jesse Lingard's injury: "He just felt his Achilles and we couldn't take any risks. You need a starting team that's ready to go and he wasn't."

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper speaking to Sky Sports: "We show respect first so congratulations to United and Newcastle for getting to the final. Good luck to both of them at Wembley.
"The damage was done really in the first leg. We couldn't say too much before tonight but we did have two great chances in the first half.
"If we had taken one of those chances then who knows? But it was a good performance. We haven't played particularly well at the big away grounds but we did better tonight so that's a step forward.
"We can't look past the fact we got to a semi-final. The club is on an upwards trajectory, there's no doubt about that when you look at where we were 12 months ago.
"We are competing well in the Premier League and in a cup semi-final so we're doing alright. We're disappointed we haven't got through, of course, that was the main objective but we have to look further than just results and we're making forward steps."

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live:
"The performances were very different. I was disappointed last week, there was no doubt. Not just with the score line but with the timing of the goals, the lack of the game management for a two legged semi-final. There was some disappointing moments last week that reflected the score line and the damage really was done in terms of getting through over the two legs.
"We couldn't say that before the game and we wouldn't because you have to try and give yourself the best chance of trying to achieve something. Tonight was a lot better certainly in terms of performance and we've had two great chances in the first half. If you take one and you definitely take two then maybe it becomes a different story.
"As always I will look at the performance and look at what was not quite right. We should also remember this is the first time in the semi-finals for over 30 years. Loads of clubs would have loved to be in our position over the last two games.
"Although we are disappointed with losing two games and the score-line doesn't look good on paper, overall it has been a good cup run, better than we have done over the last couple of years.
"At Forest we show respect and congratulations to United and Newcastle for getting to the final. We know how tough it's been to get this far so to go one more is credit to them."

I know people have said in recent years that the League Cup is not a big cup but for both teams and the progress they are trying to make, this is a massive trophy to get their hands on. It emphasises the message that both managers are trying to set out, where they want to be.
You have to start somewhere, you are not going to win league titles straight away, so they have to get that winning feeling into the players, around the club, get that feel-good factor and what better way to start?
I think the game is going to be a special game. It's two teams that want to go and play football, they have got exciting attacking players, really well-balanced sides. I make it a 50/50.

Manchester United have players on their books who are serial winners in Raphael Varane and Casemiro which will help because they have got the experience of playing on the big occasions.
The fact is it is at Wembley, a neutral ground.
It's set-up for such a fantastic final because what Eddie Howe has done with Newcastle is to make them a very hard team to beat.
United with those players have the confidence that they will definitely score, probably two or three.
Newcastle will have all the belief that they can beat Man Utd on the day as well. Plus, you will have two fantastic sets of fans which will create an unbelievable atmosphere.

Manchester United goalkeeper Tom Heaton speaking to Sky Sports: "This season has taken it onto another level and we're transitioning to where we want to be. There's a good atmosphere at the minute and good momentum. We want it to be a fortress here like it has been. Nobody is getting carried away but there's a good feeling.
"[Erik ten Hag] has set the boundaries on what is acceptable and what isn't and has been very clear. As players you respond to that. The football ideas he's got across has been good so far. It's important we keep it up.
"I'm always keen to learn and get opportunities. You try to make the most of it. Two clean sheets and I'll be raring to go next time.
"To get the opportunity to come back is great but don't get me wrong, I didn't come back just to be a part of the furniture. I still have the hunger and the drive to wear the shirt and as soon as I lose that, that will be it for me. I still feel great and I've been patiently waiting for the opportunity.
"[Ten Hag] has been very clear it's performance-based and he's been true to his word. We have plenty of people who can take over in the squad if you're not doing that."

We all know the Newcastle story and how Eddie Howe has really got it going this season and just how long it has been since they last competed in a major domestic final and going way back to when they last won one.
Five years without a trophy has been unthinkable for Man United. They have been close in the last few seasons, remember them losing three semi-finals under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in the 19/20 season.
It is really improving under Ten Hag but to be able to put a trophy on the sideboard as well just to solidify that a little bit and then take it on into the other competitions that they are in during the rest of this season. It sets up beautifully.
Plus, with the supporters, just imagine what the atmosphere is going to be like in that stadium.

More from Erik ten Hag on having to make decisions over squad selection now: "It's a luxury problem but it's how we wanted it. It's normal at Manchester United to play every few days. Players prefer to play games than to train."
On facing Newcastle in the final: "Of course we are looking forward to it. We get to go to Wembley and it's Newcastle Untied who are great team but it is far away for us."

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag speaking to Sky Sports: "Of course when you win a semi-final it's OK. The first half wasn't great to be honest. I thought it was professional but too slow and we didn't create too many chances. We allowed them to. The second half was much better, more tempo and we made some good goals.
"We were 3-0 up so I didn't want to give them momentum. They were waiting for one chance to get into the game. We were searching for gaps but I think Forest played well, defended compact and we didn't find the gaps.
"I don't think we were frustrated but we had to be a little bit smart. You don't want to give anything away so keep the ball. We should have done more investment like quicker switches and movement in behind.
"We just want to improve every day. I think we have a good squad so we have to demand and control the high standards. You have to bring that every game. We are Manchester United. When you are a United player you have to match the standards.
"We have had to make lots of compromises in the season so far so hopefully now they [all players back from injuries] are all available. If you want to win trophies, you need them all to be available. You saw tonight you can bring a new dynamic off the bench."

Manchester Untied went about their business really well, it was just a matter of time before Nottingham Forest conceded.
I was a bit worried when they conceded two goals in a very short space of time. I thought Manchester United wouldn't stop and then it could have ended 3-0 or 4-0 and then suddenly you look at a little bit of a disappointing result.
I think Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest can live with 2-0. They gave it their all, they gave it their best. But Manchester United are where they are at the moment and they are in a very good shape.

Manchester United thoroughly deserved the 2-0 win and it could have been more.
It's no disgrace for Nottingham Forest but it does sound bad when you say it was 5-0 over two legs.
The players went over to the crowd and they got a brilliant reception because they've given everything but it wasn't good enough and it was never going to be.
Manchester United were that good that Nottingham Forest couldn't win the game with the way that they played.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw speaking to Sky Sports: "Very special. It shows where we are at the moment. The boys are in a good moment and we feel the crowd are with us.
"It's a final we can really look forward to but we have a few big games first before we go there.
"It's extremely pleasing but there's no point going to a final if we don't win it. It's where we want to be.
"We want to get this club back to where it should be which is winning trophies. Newcastle are an extremely good team but it's a big moment for us in where we want to go."
