Brennan Johnson lifts it into Emmanuel Dennis and he's unmarked in the box. He volleys it towards goal but his team-mate Sam Surridge is in the way.

Dennis has his hands on his head. How?

Bruno Fernandes wins a free-kick which is played short to Luke Shaw. He strikes it powerfully but skews it a little and it ends up hitting his team-mate Wout Weghorst and bouncing out wide.

Casemiro is everywhere, he's helping in defence, he's standing in front of Surridge to make sure he's not getting a clean ball into his feet or his chest.

He's defending crosses and is back covering Garnacho.

Casemiro is there to mop up.

Antony has the ball at his feet in the box but he turns straight into two players. Bruno Fernandes shows his frustration.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets away on the right but he's closed down quickly as he tries to put a cross in.

Antony with a well struck shot. He could have taken a touch but what a hit. It bounces quite high as well so he does well to keep it as low as he does.

Antony's skill flicks it past Scott McKenna and wins a corner. It falls for Antony on the edge of the box and he fires it towards the top corner. It's not too far away!

Neco Williams has had his hands full with Alejandro Garnacho so far but he's done pretty well. He matches him for pace as Wout Weghorst tries to flick it on to him on the left.

Big chance for Brennan Johnson coming off that right-hand side onto his left foot. He was trying to bend it into the far post but hits it straight at Tom Heaton.

It's a huge opportunity for Nottingham Forest.

Alejandro Garnacho has been very lively. He's been United's most threatening player so far.

Neco Williams slips and Garnacho pokes it past Remo Freuler. He fizzes it into the box and Wayne Hennessey dives to gather it in.

Forest go up the other end and Johnson bundles into the box. He is suddently in space but hits it straight at Tom Heaton! That was a chance.

Brennan Johnson has barely had a touch so far. He hassles Lisandro Martinez to try to win the ball on the right but the Untied defender coolly spins away and rolls it across to Raphael Varane.

That was a great delivery from Shaw, nice header from Varane. Hennessey saves with his foot which is unorthodox but it gets the job done.

Luke Shaw takes the free-kick, lifting it in deep for Raphael Varane at the back post.

He heads it back across goal and Wayne Hennessey stretches to make a decent save. Neco Williams then does well to bring it out of the box and is fouled.

The ball bounces onto Neco Williams' arm from a throw-in but he couldn't do anything about it and the referee waves play on.

Alejandro Garnacho then wins a free-kick in a useful position.

The difference in Man Utd compared to last season is incredible. The pace, the energy, the purpose that they are playing with - it really is a different side.

The manager has received a lot of plaudits and to think they are nowhere near where they want to be.

Wout Weghorst has to drop deep to try and get the ball as he's not had much in the middle.

He lays it off to Fred, who plays a poor pass but follows it up to win it straight back.

I like Garnacho's variety. He has gone down the left-hand side, he has cut inside, he's played the overlap for Shaw. Great variety for a young player.

I can see already why he is being talked about so much. He's been a joy to watch. It hasn't come off but he is an exciting player, no doubt.

It's flicked on at the near post and Emmanuel Dennis, who has time to clear it, awkwardly slices it out for another corner.

That's headed away but United retain possession.
