Wout Weghorst wants a penalty and he might be in with a shout as Scott McKenna takes too long to clear the ball and ends up kicking through Weghorst in the box. He gets away with it...

A bit of momentum for Forest after the corner is cleared. Remo Freuler immediately wins it back and it's drilled in from the left towards Gustavo Scarpa but he can't connect with it.

Been a slow start to the second half. Fred plays another misplaced pass which Wayne Hennessey walks across to gather in.

Williams has done well against Garnacho who has looked exciting.

He has matched Garnacho who has the speed to get away but the recovery pace from Williams is good.

Bruno Fernandes sprays another smart ball over to the left but again, Alejandro Garnacho plays the wrong pass and Neco Williams sees it out.

Alejandro Garnacho slides it through to Fred in the box but Willy Boly comes across to coolly guide it out for a goal kick.

Ooh. Sam Surridge puts pressure on Lisandro Martinez, who kicks it back into him but is fortunate that it bounces off to Raphael Varane's feet.

Man United started really bright and have had a lot of control of the game and knocked the ball about well.

The two best opportunities of the game have fallen to Nottingham Forest and they will be disappointed not to have taken at least one of them.

It has been an entertaining game, a game that's competitive. Man United are not just sitting back and just see the game out. They want to get that goal that will kill the tie once and for all.

Forest are encouraging with the chances they have created and they'll be pretty pleased going in at half time to come out in this second half and give this a go.

The closest we've come so far as Wout Weghorst heads it onto the post minutes before half-time.

Goalless so far but we've had chances from both teams. It's been a decent game so far.

United are 45 minutes away from the final.

Sam Surridge comes in late on Raphael Varane after he clears a ball. It's sloppy and it's an easy yellow card.

Dennis does well to get a connection on it and it just bounces off Surridge. That was going in as Heaton was scrambling across to his left hand side.

It was skidding into the near post, Surridge just couldn't get out of the way of it.

Forest have looked dangerous and created opportunities.
