Dave J L Eldridge: Romero and Lenglet being 'out' for the next game is wholly irrelevant. There will be no next game based on this type of performance. Zero creativity from Spurs.

Spurs need to throw caution to the wind. Might as well lose 2 or 3 than go out like this!

HT: Bayern Munich 0-0 Paris St-Germain (agg 1-0)

    Owen Hargreaves

Jamal Musiala is just class. The way he moves and dribbles. It feels like he is the guy [for Bayern] if anything is going to happen.

  9. 'Spurs have been miles off it'published at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2023

HT: Tottenham 0-0 AC Milan (agg 0-1)

    Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

An enormous second-half coming up for Tottenham. They have been miles off it, they have been really tame and tepid against an AC Milan team that haven't travelled well this season.

They still have hope but they need to start taking the game to Milan and gambling and risking.

A few boos at the whistle. It's not been a good half. AC Milan look comfortable with their 1-0 aggregate lead. Tottenham haven't offered anything.

    Joe Cole

Bayern have been very mature with Leon Goretzka and Dayot Upamecano really diligent. Lionel Messi has not had any space. Bayern have really stifled him.

PSG have had the best chances without ever feeling in control of the game.

Spurs just cannot quite lay a glove on AC Milan at the moment. No lack of effort but not quite the penetration as yet. One or two anxious noises around Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Paul: When Kane and Son are at their best together one comes deep and the other runs ahead of them so the passer has someone to try play in on goal. Both are coming deep here and it doesn’t work.

Nicholas Walker: Spurs just don't have enough top players to play the Jose/Conte way. We may only get two or three goal chances playing like this and we haven't got the quality to take them.
