As always the creativity will have to come from Harry Kane. It is a ball into Kane and a hope that he can play a wonder pass into the runners off of him.

Alphonso Davies has a shot deflected behind for a Bayern corner and when it comes in somebody in red has a header blocked.

Harry Kane picks it up in the middle with space. He has Son Heung-min to his left and Dejan Kulusevski to his right.

He opts for Kulusevski but Theo Hernandez sprints back to regain possession. Straight up the other end, Junior Messias skies it over the bar.

It has been a bit cautious from Tottenham. Nothing is lost yet, but I expected a start of much more intensity.

Milan switch it across the back and Royal gets a toe-in to stop Theo Hernandez driving down the left.

The Bayern keeper tries and fails to beat Achraf Hakimi and gives the ball straight to Vitinha, who shoots into what appears to be an empty net, but De Ligt slides in to block it on the line.

PSG lose Marquinhos to injury. He seemed to hurt himself while defending a free-kick even though he didn't touch anyone or the ball.

So we're 24 minutes in, Spurs are still trailing 1-0 on aggregate and Clement Lenglet and Cristian Romero are both ruled out of the next match through suspension.

Clement Lenglet gets one for elbowing Olivier Giroud in an aerial challenge. Then manager Antonio Conte gets one for retaliating on the sidelines. That's Lenglet also ruled out of the next game.

The referee was letting them go initially but now he's had enough.

Good feet from Bayern youngster Jamal Musiala, the former England youth international, to beat Danilo in the box but his shot is saved by the PSG keeper.
