Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse speaking to Premier League productions, on his penalty: "Yes there was a lot [of pressure]. I know Fraser [Forster] very well, he used to be my next-door neighbour so I've taken a few penalties against him in my garden with my little boy, so we have something going on there."

On whether he believes Southampton can avoid relegation, he added: "Of course. You have to have belief. We're in the mix and we have to be positive and look up the table.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa goalscorer Jacob Ramsey: "It was a good win. I needed that goal for my confidence, I've not scored in a long time. Most importantly was the three points."

On the aim for this season: "Four unbeaten, the last two wins at home in front of a bigger crowd. I think our ambition this season was to push into the top half and get to eighth our ninth spot, but we've still got to beat a lot of teams."

On if the fans are getting behind the team: "I think there have been a lot of comments on social media. Every time I've played for Villa the atmosphere has been very good. Everyone's got to adapt to a new playing style. Today they did that and got behind us."

Aston Villa have been a cut above in quality, in build up play. They've just had that cutting edge up front when they have needed it in comparison to Bournemouth.

Since Unai Emery has come in, from on day one, he has looked completely up to speed with the job that he has needed to do and he has got his team playing excellent football. Buendía always comes on and makes a difference.

There are a lot of boos from the home fans. The officials are the chief target. Julen Lopetegui immediately strides across the pitch to confront the ref.

With some of the officiating his side have suffered with this season, his post-match interviews should be very interesting!

I think you can understand why. Wolves anger with the officials has been building all game. That last goal was the final straw for some.

However, what Wolves can't do is react in the way they have. Or stop as Traore did when he thought he should have a foul.

A point for Southampton, if they can see it out, would leave four points separating the bottom nine teams.

Saints have shown real determination to get back into this having found themselves 3-1 down with 16 minutes of normal time remaining and it will surely feel much bigger than just a point.
