  3. United laying lowpublished at 19:02 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2023

    ur viewsImage source, BBC Sport

The lack of ins appear to be of concern for United fans, especially given the movement at clubs in an around them in the league...

Joe: An embarrassing lack of movement, even rumours, has provided a real frustration for us United fans. We are in a relegation dogfight and yet the board haven’t moved to improve the current struggling squad. Matt Macey a former Hibee and Marley Watkins potentially on loan from Aberdeen certainly doesn’t excite the majority of fans.

George: If United are to persist with a back 3/5 we need a commanding, right-sided centre back with height and pace. If Watt departs we need another striker in to supplement Fletcher and provide cover for him if and when he's injured... almost inevitable at his age. Finally, a reliable goalkeeper to compete with Birighitti who's mistake prone.

    Weigh in, here.

  4. Nisbet startspublished at 18:57 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2023

That could be HUGE deal in the context of the Premiership relegation battle, and the Championship title race.

Queen's Park, the second-tier leaders, have lost their captain who has bagged 15 league goals this season.

And could it be the move which ends County's goalscoring woes?

With Nicolas Raskin announced, and Todd Cantwell already in the building, I'm informed that’s Rangers business is done for this transfer window.

They had been looking at other options in defence and attack but manager Michael Beale had hinted the deals were far likelier to happen in the summer.

  12. Do Rangers need a striker?published at 18:22 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2023

Bill: We need a target man up front. One with a proven goal scoring record. Morelos has been awesome but his star is fading and Colak sadly spends too much time on the treatment table. Somebody with the presence of a latter day Mark Hateley would be my ideal. Someone like that gives supporting midfielders valuable space to be creative.

Agree, Rangers fans? Share your thoughts here.

While the arrival of Simon Murray appears imminent in the Highlands, County fans are after someone at the other end, too.

Nathaneal: Need a stronger central defender and possibly a dynamic defensive midfielder to shut out goals.

  14. Can Queen's Park hold on to Murray?published at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2023

It seems Simon Murray is on his way to Ross County. But will it be in the summer, or can the clubs agree a deal before midnight for him to move north now?

Andy: Would love us to continue our Australian adventure and bring Jason Cummings to Tynecastle! Yes has history with Hibernian but a jambo during his younger years and who wouldn’t love to see the Cumdog back in the cinch.

  20. Tried and tested for Hearts?published at 17:45 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2023

    Your viewsImage source, BBC Sport

The talk of this window has been Callum Paterson's potential return to Gorgie, but a few Jambos are looking back on a few former maroon men to come back, too...

Jake: I think what we have been missing is someone who can come off the bench and get goals out of nothing. A player who has been constantly hitting the back of the net this season is former Tynecastle Park favourite Craig Wighton. Hopefully Savage and Neilson are looking at a return for him given his form for Dunfermline lately.

Cherice: After the season ending injury to Craig Gordon, would love to see a backup keeper coming in. Zander Clark has done so well since deputising for Gordon, but worried we're lack in that department. Would be happy to see Joel Pereira back at the club on a temporary basis. Was well loved here last time following his loan spell from Man United.

Andrew: I’m all for giving people second chances and believe Aidy White deserves one with Hearts! Struggled for goals and assists at wing back and he’s someone who could come in and hit the ground running and secure third place. Would be a real statement signing and show the rest of the league we mean business.

Stuart: Would love for Hearts to bring Morgaro Gomis back to the club. Thought he was outstanding during his first spell and especially in the game on Sunday against Livingston which was 0-0 we missed that bit of creativity he could bring to set up chances

I think Joe Savage's job is safe...
