So, two down, one to go.

Rachel Daly's double got the job done for England against Italy at the Coventry Building Society Arena, even though Sarina Wiegman's side were pushed all the way by the visitors.

Next up is the Arnold Clark Cup decider against Belgium on Wednesday at Bristol City's Ashton Gate.

England debutant Katie Robinson on ITV: "I was unbelievably proud when I found out I was starting. I was so excited and had some nerves before the game but I was glad to be out there.

"It was great to assist and help the team as much as possible. I wanted to get as many crosses in as I could.

"It's natural to feel nerves before the game but as soon as you get out there they go away and you can just do what you love.

"Any opportunity to get on the pitch I want to express myself. I look at everyone in the team for support and inspiration."

England manager Sarina Wiegman on ITV: "I'm very happy with the game.

"We played very well in the first half, the second half started well but we had a little period when we had a hard time.

"At the end of the game, we were struggling to get out of their first press. We need to play a little longer.

"The substitutes come in but connections change with that.

"In the end, a good win and we're happy."

On Rachel Daly playing at centre-forward: "It's not a future position for Daly because she plays there now.

"Sometimes she plays there for us, we have so many options and Daly is definitely one for us.

"We want to try out different combinations and that's what we are doing over this competition. Players are giving us some headaches."

Rachel Daly is good in the air. She had so much to do for her second goal.

The neck work to direct that was impressive.

I think Daly is staking her claim to be the starting number nine.

Alessia Russo is pushing her but it's really interesting what's happening in this battle because they can both score.

Goalscorer Rachel Daly on ITV: "There were spells where they put us under pressure but we stayed patient.

We were disappointed to concede but we got the win, stuck to the gameplan and it was a good team performance today."

On playing up front: "I think I'm pretty good in the air. It helps when I play in all sorts of positions.

"I'm here to score goals when I play up front. I always say I'll play anywhere. I enjoyed it today.

"Winning the game was the main thing and I'm glad we could deliver."

On competition for places: "That's what comes with the depth of this squad. Everyone is capable of playing. It keeps us on our toes and the competition is so healthy."

It wasn't the best performance we've seen from the Lionesses but we saw that players like Rachel Daly can still win the game.

We saw a lot of players in different positions today. It's good to see all of these players get a chance to stake their claim ahead of the World Cup.

Rachel Daly's double has given England an excellent chance of retaining the Arnold Clark Cup.

However, the exact nature of the Lionesses' task in their final game of the tournament is yet to be determined.

Belgium play South Korea at 18:15 GMT in today's other game. A Belgium win by four goals or more would make things very interesting.

Any other result will leave England just needing to avoid defeat to the Belgians to win the trophy again.

England have been the better side.

It has been an invaluable experience for the younger players out there today.

Overall it has been a positive day and plenty to take out of the game for England.

There's the whistle - England's undefeated record under Sarina Wiegman stretches to 28 matches.

They have a Rachel Daly double to thank for it - two excellent headers from the Aston Villa player justifying Wiegman's decision to switch her up front, having often been deployed at full-back.

Italy did cause a much-changed and experimental England side some problems, levelling with a goal from Sofia Cantore that will re-ignite the debate about whether VAR and goal-line technology should be used on such occasions.

But ultimately it was a deserved win for the Lionesses - their 24th in 28 games since Wiegman took charge.

No taking the ball into the corner here. Niamh Charles whips a cross in but Italy keeper Laura Giuliani claims it.

The five minutes are up now, though.

Nice spell of keep-ball from the Lionesses now.

But they get adventurous, lose it and Italy break two on two.

It's a poor finish from Annamaria Serturini, though, well wide and never troubling Ellie Roebuck.

Katie Zelem wins a free-kick just inside the Italy half and that will kill a few seconds.

Vital intervention from Lotte Wubben-Moy.

Italy pick England's pocket in the middle of the park and a slide-rule pass threatens to put goalscorer Sofia Cantore in again but the Arsenal defender outpaces her to reach the ball first.

Five minutes to be added.

England inviting Italy on a bit here.

Some fella in the crowd breaks out a horn in an attempt to rally the Lionesses.

Admirable intent, horrible noise.

Some nice passing from the Italians around the England area but the final ball is just awry.

Niamh Charles then shepherds out the danger, for now.

England getting a bit sloppy here at the back, conceding a bit of territory in the closing stages.

Italy not giving this up as sub Annamaria Serturini strides down the left but she cannot get a cross in and it goes out for a goal kick.
