The Brighton forward gets in a low cross from the right wing but Italy deal with it well.

KB: Park and Robinson are taking their opportunity all right.
Shell: Nice link up play between Robinson and Park.
3lionspodcast: Italy already providing more of an opposition than South Korea.
England 0-0 Italy
You suspect Italy are sniffing a chance of a shock here against a much-changed and youthful England side.
The Lionesses look a little bit hesitant at the back at times but more confident going forward.

Strong early signs from the youngsters. Katie Robinson has had some really nice touches under pressure and Jess Park looks full of confidence, which she showed with an attempt from long range.
England 0-0 Italy
Italy are looking very dangerous on the break and England will have to watch for that.
Alex Greenwood snuffs out the latest threat but the visitors are really targeting the right flank - England's left - and they win their first corner.
England clear it, albeit not massively convincingly.

Good hunting from Rachel Daly. She does well to keep it low but it's a good save from Giuliani.
She is just a nightmare because she can sniff something out of nothing.

Grandad Teeth: Come on England, great to see Rachel Daly start as number nine.
England 0-0 Italy
Another mistake from Italy at the back and another chance for Daly - she strikes it well again but keeper Giuliani is equal to the strike once more and holds it well.
England 0-0 Italy
Laura Giuliani produces a save to match Roebuck's.
Rachel Daly puts Martina Lenzini under all sorts of pressure and forces the mistake - but her low drive is excellently pushed aside by Giuliani.
England 0-0 Italy
Italy's first attack almost results in the opening goal but Ellie Roebuck is extremely alert to deny Valentina Giacinti at her near post.
The visitors had the Lionesses outnumbered on a swift counter-attack there and Giacinti struck her shot sweetly from the right-hand side of the area but Roebuck reacted smartly.

Very interesting. Jess Park has lined up in the number 10 position and Alex Greenwood is indeed playing centre-back. It's a front three of Katie Robinson, Lauren Hemp and Rachel Daly.
England 0-0 Italy
Lovely turn on the halfway line from Katie Robinson on her first start.
She sets Niamh Charles racing down the left. In turn she finds Jess Park but, under pressure, she fires well wide from 20 yards.

Italy are starting with a 4-4-2.
I think England have far too much quality on the ball so it's just about building a tempo and starting a lot quicker than they did against South Korea.
England 0-0 Italy
Alex Greenwood takes it but fails to beat Barbara Bonansea at the near post and she clears at the second attempt.
England 0-0 Italy
A nervy early backpass is just about cleared by Italy keeper Laura Giuliani but England soon win a corner just 90 seconds in.
England 0-0 Italy
We've been sent to Coventry today - but it's far from silent as we get under way with a massive roar from the football fans here in the Midlands.
A hearteningly wonderful reception too for the taking of the knee prior to Italy kicking off.

This feels like a big tournament for Alex Greenwood.
She spoke to us earlier this week about her form and the confidence she is in.
It's clear she's playing well and enjoying her football.
She's been rewarded with another start today and is expected to play in the centre-back position, as opposed to the left-back role she took on Thursday.

It's going to be interesting to see if Italy play more defensive in a 4-5-1 as they did in the first game or whether they really go after it with a 4-4-2.
This is going to be a big test for [Jess] Carter and [Alex] Greenwood today because [Cristiana] Girelli is really strong.
She's playing her best football at the moment with Juventus and she's winning her 100th cap.

Rousing rendition of the Italian national anthem from the visiting players, who look pumped up for this one.

Today's match officials are all from North Macedonia with Ivana Projkovska the woman in the middle.
North Macedonia, incidentally, were England's first opposition of the Sarina Wiegman era, thrashed 8-0 by the Lionesses, in a World Cup qualifier in September 2021.
And it's pretty much been all fun and roses since.
Speaking of fun, there's no VAR at today's fixture. Hurrah, I hear some of you shout. There's no goal-line technology either, though.
