I am starting to think that Southampton could play this match for days and not be able to score - it’s not that West Ham have been brilliant, it’s just that Southampton have looked terrified to take a risk

You can just see as the minutes and seconds tick by, West Ham are just starting to slip back and defend what they've got, which is inviting pressure.

Whatever the result today, David Moyes should be on his way out. The players that West Ham have should be dominating this game, but it’s like a League One game. The Hammers winning will be a plus, but the quality of football isn’t what it should be

As a West Ham fan, I actually feel sorry for the people who have paid the extortionate Sky Sports fee to watch this cobblers. At least you can switch over though. I'm stuck here. Abysmal stuff.

West Ham have been very good at not giving James Ward-Prowse any opportunity to shoot within striking range.
The Southampton skipper is yet to exert any authority on the game.
West Ham boss David Moyes has made a chance in that central midfield area. It will be interesting to see if Flynn Downes can negate Ward-Prowse in the same way Tomas Soucek did.
