Tonight's win represents a third successive top-flight away win on the trot for Bournemouth - the first time they have achieved such a feat in their history. Timed it well.

If Spurs are to have any lingering hope of a top-four spot, they surely have to win this game.

A defeat leaves them nine points between tonight's opponents and Newcastle, who have just hammered Everton.

Spurs can take heart from the fact they've offered much, much more in this second half, but missing chances like that is only going to lead to one outcome.

All over and a brilliant second half display by Newcastle as they take all three points to strengthen their place in the top four.

A slight - very slight - reprieve for Everton as Fabian Schär's goal is ruled out with Dan Burn offside in the build up.

It remains 4-1 to Newcastle.

Bournemouth are having to dig in now as we move into added time.

Saints are throwing everything they have at trying to salvage something.

This really sums up Southampton's night and whole season.

With 30 second plus stoppage time to play, Southampton right on the brink, still

Everton have two on Alexander Isak but he is able to get away again down the left before driving in a cross that is headed away.

There's more changes for the visitors - including one of Everton's own as Anthony Gordon comes on, along with Elliot Anderson. Callum Wilson and Joe Willock are the two to make way.

There's some boos from Gordon but there's not too many Everton fans still in the ground, so it is a bit muted.
