    Ben Whiteman (26 mins)

    A sensational strike!

Preston win a free-kick in a dangerous area and immediately take advantage.

Ben Whiteman curls a dipping shot in on the right-hand side of the Blackpool wall and beats Seasiders keeper Chris Maxwell at his near post.

Maxwell should be doing better, that is poor.

Hornets keeper Daniel Bachmann flies to the edge of his box to intercept a curling ball towards Elijah Adebayo, the home fans insist he handled it across the line, but the officials think he dropped it as it crossed the whitewash.

    Preston 1-0 Blackpool

CJ Hamilton races through on the wing as Blackpool go on the attack having broken into the Preston half.

He plays a one-two in the box and then drives low at Preston keeper Freddie Woodman and wins a corner which is immediately cleared.

  6. Postpublished at 12:50 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Carlton Morris and Ryan Porteous renew acquaintances... more specifically Morris tries an overhead kick following a deep Luton corner, which catches Porteous in the face. Another free-kick to Watford.

Porteous is slow to his feet but will play on, encouraged by a less than sympathetic home crowd.

  7. Postpublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Luton see the game's first corner cleared towards midfield, Amari Bell is the man back on halfway and, it's derby day, why not have a crack... he fizzes a first-time half-volley three yards wide from about 40 yards out.

Nailed-on Puskas if that flies in...

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

    Preston 1-0 Blackpool

There's a bit of needle in this derby now.

Kick-off is delayed following Brad Potts' opener after a flare is thrown onto the pitch then it kicks off between the players.

Fresh after his goal, Potts goes into the book for a reckless tackle on James Husband.

It's a great ball in from Andrew Hughes. Blackpool don't deal with it. He gets half a yard on his man and scores from a difficult angle.

He's hit it with some power. Game on. That's really ignited this game.

    Wow.

A cracker of a ball from Andrew Hughes is sent into the Blackpool box and the visitors fail to deal with it.

It's headed clear by CJ Hamilton into the path of Brad Potts who's stood unmarked on the corner of the box and the Preston man buries a shot past Chris Maxwell.
