The lights are getting much lighter, theoretically it's getting warmer and we can now count the remaining games for all of the Championship clubs on a single hand.

Between now and the second weekend in May, it's going to be very interesting.

We're back in midweek with another full programme of matches from the EFL.

Join us then. Until that time, good night and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

This is the play-off picture then for Blackburn, who go back up to sixth.

Their run-in though is a horror.

Coventry at home, derbies with Preston away and Burnley at home, Luton at home and then finishing away at Millwall.

Win them all and they'll feel like kings going into the play-offs, but that's easier said than done.

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

Blackburn huffed and puffed again. When you keep possession, it's what you do with it. You have got get the ball forward and quickly.

Hull made it a tough game and Blackburn couldn't break them down.

What was missing was opportunities and chances. Karl Darlow won't have an easier night as a goalkeeper.

Blackburn Rovers' winless run stretches to five games, albeit with back-to-back draws, as they are held by Hull City.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's side head back into the top six with this point, but have a run in against five of their play-off rivals.

Hull were stubborn as oxen, worked hard, and might have pinched it themselves with a couple of chances.

Opportunity missed though, is the feeling around Ewood Park.

Callum Brittain wings in a cross which deflects behind and Karl Darlow can't keep it in for Hull.

    Blackburn corner...

  8. ouch!

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Sorba Thomas hammers into the side-netting from an acute angle, as Blackburn fail to finish again.

Why 'Ouch!' you say? Cos it's painful to watch.

  9. Postpublished at 90+2 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Ryan Hedges bends in a magnificent cross for Rovers, but Harry Leonard just can't connect. One right in the old 'corridor of uncertainty' between goalkeeper and defence.

Blackburn are almost trying too hard and in their determination, have lacked a bit of composure when well placed.

Hull have been really well set though. Booking for Karl Darlow, timewasting.

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Ryan Hedges does well to escape Lewie Coyle by rolling the Hull full-back, but the attack is cleared.

Coyle comes in again and ends a push.

It's torrid for Rovers. Running aground.

    Five added minutes.

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

I'm erring on the side of Hull City's defensive shape being the reason that Blackburn have been so frustrated here.

They really haven't given too much away in the second-half and when they have, Karl Darlow has been big and decisive.

Sorba Thomas almost justifies this comment by slinging a cross straight to the Newcastle loanee.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 86 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Wild lunge by Dimitrios Pelkas earns him a booking after Ryan Hedges has to skip clear of his flying boots.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 86 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Triple change for Blackburn as Callum Brittain, Harry Leonard and Scott Wharton come on.

Hull bring on Xavier Simons and Michael Ebiowei.

  14. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

I really rate Sorba Thomas. X-factor type of winger. But his corner just then was straight at Karl Darlow.

He races forward again for Blackburn but his cross goes behind his targets.

Hull break, and Regan Slater guides into the box but lashes harmlessly wide.

Harry Pickering looks dejectedImage source, Rex Features

The expression on Harry Pickering's face is probably one that is mirrored around Ewood Park at the minute.

Blackburn have been unable to nick that goal which the fans want and perhaps expect from a side chasing promotion.

But Hull haven't made it easy. It's attritional and scrappy and needs a moment of class.

  16. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Karl Darlow sidesteps trouble in his own box and launches an attack.

Eventually Greg Doherty has a tame shot which daisycuts easily to Aynsley Pears in the Blackburn goal.

  17. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Blackburn move the ball about the edge of the Hull box with purpose, and the crowd beckon a shot from the likes of Lewis Travis, Joe Rankin Costello and co.

Sorba Thomas crosses. Cleared. Ryan Hedges crosses... corner.

Thomas swings it in, but a big punch from Karl Darlow clears.

  18. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Almost a howler from Blackburn as Aynsley Pears is caught in no-mans land as a big boot forward from Hull sailed toward their box.

Rovers stepped up through Dom Hyam, who asserts himself and steers it away from goal with a header.

    Not great chat though.

  19. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Fair to say, neither Dolan or Brereton Diaz appreciated the manager's call judging by their facial expressions on the bench.

Anyway, trickery and pace from Sorba Thomas, who jinks down the left before arrowing a low, fizzy cross shot into the side netting from the left.

Hull switch Ozan Tufan for Greg Docherty.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Blackburn 0-0 Hull

Blackburn have withdrawn their main playmaker in this one - Tyrhys Dolan, and goalscoring threat Ben Brereton Diaz.

In their place, Ryan Hedges and Sorba Thomas...
