With five minutes of regular time remaining, there's been a Priestfield powercut.

Leyton Orient are down to 10 men and losing 2-0 to Gillingham but they're still so close to promotion - Bradford have fallen a goal behind at Swindon, and they must win to stop the leaders going up tonight.

The players have returned to the dressing rooms. The Orient fans are holding their phones up in the darkness and singing "we are going up".

    Georgie Kelly (85 mins)

They just do not know they are beaten!

Irishman Georgie Kelly levels for the home side against the promoted Clarets.

That edges them a point further way from trouble at the bottom. If they can hang on of course...

Nathan Broadhead has turned Ipswich's home game against managerless Port Vale around, scoring his second with an 84th-minute penalty.

That means Town are going top as it stands, with Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth a point behind.

  7. National League update - Yeovil heading downpublished at 21:30 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

James Jones and Paul Mullin have put Wrexham 3-0 up at home to Yeovil, who must not lose tonight if they are to avoid relegation.

Wrexham will move four points clear of Notts County at the top with two games remaining unless they capitulate here.

  10. League Two update - Orient nerves janglingpublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

    #bbcefl

    • Cheye Alexander's penalty has made it 2-0 to Gillingham at home to leaders Leyton Orient, who are still set to go up but need to avoid defeat tonight to guarantee promotion without relying on other teams.
    • Orient fans must be desperately hoping that Bradford don't score at Swindon, where it's 0-0. If the Bantams win and Northampton are also victorious - they're currently 2-1 up at Sutton - Orient won't be going up tonight.
  11. League One update - Rams score againpublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

    #bbcefl

David McGoldrick has scored twice in 25 minutes for Derby at Exeter, who are facing a fourth straight defeat but have just pulled one back through Jack Sparkes to make it 2-1.

That's McGoldrick's 24th goal of the season, but it won't be enough to raise the Rams into the play-off places tonight unless Burton score again to deny Bolton at least a point - it's currently 1-1 - or Peterborough pass up a 2-0 lead at second-bottom Accrington.

    Rochdale 1-2 Tranmere

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at the Crown Oil Arena

Danny Lloyd has pulled his side back into this with a screamer! Before kick-off, he told me how much he wanted to get a goal against his old team and that has helped awaken a side sleep-walking towards relegation.

Finally Dale are showing some fight but as it stands, it’s no longer in their hands. A goal for Crawley, and it will be game over, if things stay like this.

    HUGE!

It has not been a vintage performance from the home side by any stretch but they have the lead now!

Iiman Ndiaye plays in Manchester City loanee James McAtee and he finishes with the kind of quality we've come to associate with him.

As it stands, the Blades will be going eight points clear of third-placed Luton.

  15. Postpublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

    Blackpool 0-2 West Brom

With Sunderland pegged back to 1-1 against Huddersfield, West Brom are heading up to sixth in the Championship as things stand.

The Baggies have big games in their next three, facing the Black Cats, second-placed Sheffield United and fellow play-off hopefuls Norwich.

Blackpool need a goal to try and spark some hope of a comeback.

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Bristol City

Not a lot happening here still.

As it stands, second-placed Sheffield United could see Luton close the gap to them to three points if they beat Reading tomorrow.

  17. Postpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

    Rotherham 1-1 Burnley

Rotherham still need some points to secure their Championship survival and they could yet get them tonight.

Georgie Kelly sends a header straight at Clarets goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

  18. League Two update - Rochdale replypublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

    #bbcefl

    • Danny Lloyd has given Rochdale a glimmer of hope, firing in a fine effort to reduce Tranmere's lead to 2-1.
    • Third-bottom Crawley are still drawing 0-0 at home to Colchester, so Dale would need to win all three of their remaining games to have any hope of surviving, as matters stand.
  19. Postpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 18 April 2023

    Stoke 0-1 Wigan

Almost a second for rock-bottom Wigan.

Tendayi Darikwa strikes narrowly past the post after good work by Josh Magennis, who showed strength to hold up the ball on the left before crossing.

The Latics will move five points from safety if they can grab all three points.
