Really good counter-attack by Manchester United and it comes from Luke Shaw winning a brave header.

They were four-on-three, Antony has the ball and I think he just under-hits the pass. It forces Marcus Rashford to check back slightly before shooting.

It's looped into the box and Raphael Varane manages to knock it down for Casemiro. He's got his back to goal and tries to half-volley it on the turn. It's a difficult skill and it's always going over.

Marcus Rashford's effort is pushed away by Claudio Bravo and the rebound doesn't fall for Wout Weghorst.

United have a corner instead.

Whenever Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes link up, they are looking a real threat for Manchester United at the moment.

Wout Weghorst can't be missing these chances.

Antony whips it in from the left and it's on a plate for Weghorst. He skies it from a few yards out.

He might have been offside anyway, but he has to score that anyway.

David de Gea completely slices his clearance straight out for a throw-in. He shakes his head in disgust but United win it back immediately.

Luke Shaw puts another cross into the box but it's cleared.

Luiz Henrique is in space on the right and he wriggles away in the box to win a corner for Betis.

It's stabbed towards goal on the set-piece but Wout Weghorst is in the way to block it.

Marcus Rashford tries to beat Sabaly with trickery but it's good defending from the Betis full-back.

He then nutmegs Luke Shaw and wins a free-kick in his own half. Smooth.

Andrew Priestley: Rashford’s finish was tremendous, but let’s give the Betis defender credit for his valiant attempt at blocking that shot with his face while on the floor at point blank range.

Manchester United need to capitalise on the opportunities they are getting here.

They cannot afford to let Real Betis off the hook and create anxiety for themselves, especially after what happened on Sunday.

Manuel Pellegrini turns back to his seat shaking his head in the Betis dugout.

Two big chances for United to extend their lead in a matter of minutes.

Another huge chance for Wout Weghorst, who is getting himself into some great positions in the box.

Luke Shaw drills it in from the left and he pokes it wide. It took a deflection from Luiz Felipe - a crucial one - but the referee didn't see it.

Antony beats Abner Vinicius for pace on the right but he tries to check back onto his left foot in the box to get a shot off and loses it.

A poor clearance from David de Gea goes straight to William Carvalho. Betis can't get through on the right but Carvalho does really well again in the middle to wriggle past a few challenges and recycle it.

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking to BT Sport: "Considering you concede two goals away from home and still escape with a draw you have to take some positives.

"But we gave them too much hope by giving the ball away in our own half too many times.

"We had control for long periods but we lacked a bit of that final touch but we are missing four key attackers so we will take the draw.

"At 2-1 we lose the runner and they had a chance to make it 3-1 a lot of things to improve but we showed a lot of resiliency and we are still in the tie.

"Making six changes you lose a bit of the cohesion but we had to make the changes because some are unavailable and others had to play out of position but they did well."

On the substitutions: "They have to be available and we have to use them. They have to be fit enough to play in these games. To play at this club you have to play every three days."

On the second leg: "Everything is still to play for and we get to play at home and now we have to show that we are the better team."

Marcus Rashford led Manchester United's fightback off the pitch yesterday when he spoke at the pre-match press conference dismissing as 'nonsense' the argument he and his team-mates had stopped trying at Anfield.

Now he has done it on the pitch, driving home his 26th goal of the season.

After his trademark celebration, Rashford roared 'come on' to the crowd.

Joaquin doesn't take the shot when he has space in the box and the chances goes begging after a nice move from Betis.

They have shown some neat touches through the middle.

Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka speaking to BT Sport: "We knew before the game it is tough to play here. It is always tough to play against a Portuguese team they are, well disciplined, tough and have good players technically but we have to take the 2-2 and finish the game in London.

"We started okay in the game started the first game but the two goals we conceded was too easy at this level, that cannot happen.

"In the second half we had a lot of control, we could have won the game but also could have lost the game so that is why we take the draw."

Wout Weghorst wins it back for United in midfield and Diogo Dalot holds off the full-back to switch it across.

It eventually comes back into the box by Casemiro but Weghorst's header is straight at the goalkeeper.
