He's an absolute unit, Haaland. He's like a freight train. I can't imagine many players are as quick as him so they've got to release it a lot quicker.

Nathan Ake vs Kingsley Coman is proving a good battle and I'd say it is 2-0 to the City defender so far as he holds off the Bayern forward on the right side of the box before sticking a boot in to clear.

Jack Grealish is playing with such confidence. He is in the right position to receive a pass just outside the area and he flicks the ball into Erling Haaland's path but the striker uncharacteristically doesn't catch his shot well and it is an easy save for Yann Sommer.

What City like to do is a cross-field ball. They draw the opponent in and they try and go for the cross-field ball but the wind is so bad and it's not working at the moment, for either team.

Manuel Akanji goes for an optimistic cross-field pass, hoping to find Jack Grealish on the opposite flank but this strong wind prevents the ball from finding its target and Benjamin Pavard clears.

Plenty of action in the technical areas as Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich counterpart Thomas Tuchel are both cutting very agitated figures.

Guardiola was ordered back into his designated area after one angry outburst when he was unhappy with his team while Tuchel has been remonstrating furiously with his backroom staff.

No time to take shelter from the wild weather with the wind sending a rainstorm swirling around Etihad Stadium.
