It was Manchester City's own downfall. Musial makes the most of it, and it's a magnificent ball.

I'm thinking this is just going be dinked into the far corner. Hands on heads all around the stadium. He should score, and Bayern Munich should be ahead.

Should have done better there but Manchester City have been struggling with Bayern's pace.

The pressure Manchester City are being put under when they win the ball back, is immense from Bayern Munich.

Kingsley Coman is having real joy down that right flank and he is in behind again. This time he plays the ball in low but it is behind his team-mates before Ruben Dias stabs away.

Manchester City are having to withstand some real pressure from a determined Bayern Munich so far.

Kingsley Coman gets in behind the defence to chase a ball over the top down the right. He races towards the box before sending in a cross that is just over Eric Choupo-Moting's head.

A good start by Bayern.

A very cagey start at the San Siro. Benfica are having loads of possession but they haven't been able to carve out a serious chance and test Andre Onana. Inter are quite happy for the visitors to have the ball and are defending in numbers.

I'm wondering when Manchester City are going switch up the formation and have Stones in.

Bayern are outnumbering them in the middle.

We have seen in previous weeks that they when Stones has stepped in they have dominated.

John Stones, fresh from clearing that corner, has stepped into midfield as Manchester City build an attack. Bayern quickly regain possession but then Ilkay Gündogan mops up the danger.

Looked like there was a bit of a comms issue between the referee and his assistants that slightly delayed the kick off at the Allianz Arena but from the off the home side are on the attack as John Stones has to head away an excellent Kingsley Coman cross.

An early Bayern goal would certainly make things interesting.

Benfica need a fast start and they win an early corner that comes to nothing. Deafening whistles each time a red shirt touches the ball. Incredible noise at the San Siro.
