Neco Williams must have had more shots than anyone this evening.

    10 minutes left in Cardiff.

There is so much space in this game, especially in the final third, Latvia are getting tired now.

It has been composed for the most part.

Joe Morrell has impressed this evening, he does not look like a League One player that is for sure.

He has just played a lovely diagonal ball to Connor Roberts, but the next pass onto Harry Wilson from the Burnley man is overhit.

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

Neco Williams has had his fair share of efforts today, and this latest one is dragged wide of the bottom left corner.

It's the best game Dan James has had in a long time.

  7. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

A lot of sideways and backwards possession for Wales in last 10 minutes or so.

They have managed to stop the hint of momentum Latvia had wrestled control of.

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

    Helen Ward

Nathan Broadhead will be itching to get on, it is a really good game for a player like him to come on to, especially on the high he's come off on Saturday.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

And here comes Nathan Broadhead for his home debut, replacing Dan James who has had another good performance for his country despite a lack of playing minutes at Fulham.

Nathan Broadhead - the last minute goalscorer in Croatia on Saturday - is warmed up ready to make his second appearance for Wales.

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

    Nathan Blake
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

If Wales can keep this ball moving, you can see the Latvian players tiring, so the last 10 minutes should really open up.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

A change on the left wing for Latvia, as Renars Varslavans comes on for Andrejs Ciganiks.

  13. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

I have to agree with Helen Ward's comments a minute ago, Aaron Ramsey looks a little off the pace.

For the third time this half he plays a poor pass which gives up possession.

    Uncharacteristic from the Wales midfielder.

How do you replace Gareth Bale? You can't.

How do you replace Joe Allen? Hope Ethan Ampadu never gets injured because if he doesn't, he is going to win 150 international caps.

Wales get to a certain point, with good pace and then it all slows down and we end up going backwards again.

  16. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

A small rallying cry from the home crowd as they can sense their side losing a little bit of control.

Dan James and Harry Wilson still look dangerous on the break however.

Even though we are playing well it is still very rigid.

Really good recovery tackle form Neco Williams.

I might be being harsh on Aaron Ramsey but I feel with the front four he has probably impacted the game the least.

He has got so much ability on the ball, but he is almost playing within himself.

  20. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Wales 1-0 Latvia

There are still chances out there for Latvia.

Vladislavs Gutkovskis looks the most likely to score for the visitors, and he finds a yard of space inside the Wales box but is closed down quickly by Neco Williams to cut out the threat.
