    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Erling Haaland will not give up trying to get a goal here until it is absolutely impossible.

He charges in to try to meet a Kevin de Bruyne cross but is just beaten to it by a punch from Joel Robles to clear the ball.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:34 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Tottenham 1-0 Crystal Palace

    It should be 2-0.

Son Heung-Min expertly controls Cristian Romero's lofted ball over the top, but Sam Johnstone manages to get an outstretched hand onto the ball and nudge it away for a corner as Son looked to go around him.

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

It has been a truly awful season for Leeds. They've barely had a kick this afternoon. But their fans are still enjoying themselves. They've got their shirts off, swinging them above their heads.

I can't fault you, Anon. But that's kind of what I'm getting at... it's those losses that fuel the pleasure you get from winning. It's the old not being able to appreciate the sunshine without the rain.

50-plus-year City fan here. Yes. Dominating and destroying teams like Leeds is fun. I get great pleasure from it. Remember we were terrible until 2010 or so. It won't last forever so I will bask in glory while it does.

And now Neto is forced into a save at the other end, diving in at the feet of Raheem Sterling to stop him converting a Ben Chilwell cross from the left.

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:30 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa

    It should be 2-0!

Pedro Neto weaves into the area before playing it across to Matheus Nunes, but he gets his feet in a muddle when all he needed to do was tap home.

    Minutes later...it should be 1-1!

A chipped free-kick over the top finds Tyrone Mings who volleys over the bar from six yards.

This game is really opening up now.

People criticising Allardyce must have very short memories. Under Leeds' more recent managers they'd be four or five down at this point. Two down away at City earns a little confidence and respect for better fixtures to come.

    Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

Bournemouth are having a good moment now.

Dango Ouattara is denied by a group of Chelsea defenders in the Blues box. It is an effort from close range, but the Cherries man has too many barriers in front of him.

We've got a check for a possibly penalty to Bournemouth for a sliding tackle from Thiago Silva on Dominic Solanke.

I'll be surprised if this is given... nope, no penalty.

There's a definite feeling of City easing their way through this half.

With Real Madrid to come, who can blame them? They've got Leeds beat regardless.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

Chelsea have thrown on Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to try and find a lead in this game.

Noni Madueke remains the Blues' biggest threat, though. His latest effort isn't the best, though - an awful slice as he tries to curl a shot from the edge of the box.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 6 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa

A good sight for Aston Villa fans.

Diego Carlos replaces Ashley Young for his first appearance since suffering an Achilles injury in August.
