West Ham United
West Ham boss David Moyes talking to Premier League Productions: "It was not a good day for us and not a performance we were pleased from. There is not much we can take from it.
"The first goal took the air out of us. It was similar to what we've done before so I am hugely disappointed with that. When you make the chances we did you can get the inconsistencies we got today, particularly in the first half.
"I was disappointed they scored from a long throw because we had worked on stopping it. I asked them to do better in the second half and I thought we got that. I wanted to get a grip of the game with the substitutions and it was important we didn't let the game run away with us."
On the disallowed goal: "It was pretty poor. It doesn't sit right with me. I don't think it hits his hand.
"If anything it hits his shoulder, and certainly above the shirt sleeve line, and certainly with the distance.
"It was not conclusive that it hit his hand. Far from it."

The Arsenal fans are doing their bit as they give their players a huge roar as the game gets under way.

Everton
Everton manager Sean Dyche speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we were excellent for 30 minutes but they showed what a class side they are. They were slow in passing it in front of us, which was fine by us. But they changed their game plan and went longer. They picked up the scraps and capitalised on it. They showed what a top side they are because they can score goals in different ways.
"We tried to counter and break well, which we did at times, but all of a sudden we were 2-0 down and it's very difficult from there on in."
On avoiding relegation: "It's the same as when I came in - we just need to get it over the line, that's the priority, not Manchester City. Losing our left-back the day before the game affected the balance of the team but we showed effort. We were trying to get the team to play with confidence and there was an element of that. The mentality stood firm."
Message to Everton fans: "Stick with us and we'll keep working to get this done."
FT: Brentford 2-0 West Ham
Brentford
Brentford boss Thomas Frank talking to Premier League Productions: "It was a very good performance. It is the most convincing 2-0 win in history. We were in complete control throughout the game.
"The first goal high pressure, we won it high and had a very quick transition and produced a very good goal. The long throw paid off again. We had five, six, seven good chances too.
"I'm so happy with Yoane Wissa that he got a well-deserved goal. We needed him to step up with Ivan Toney out and he did that.
"Finishing in the top half is an unbelievable result. Now we'd like to climb as high as possible"
On the disallowed West Ham goal: "It clearly hit the hand and changed direction, that is the rule. If there is something we don't agree with we maybe need to look at changing the rule. I feel a little bit irritated that we have to speak about that goal with how dominant we were."

Brentford
Brentford boss Thomas Frank talking to BBC Match of the Day: "The most convincing 2-0 win I’ve seen a long, long time. We were completely dominant in all aspects. We should have scored at least two more goals. I am extremely satisfied with the performance.
"It is very promising to see that performance without Ivan Toney. Obviously he is a massive player for us but we need 11 players, it is not just about one.
"Of course it is important for Yoane Wissa to score. He has been a little bit unlucky to not score more goals this season but I am so happy for him.
"First and foremost we've ticked out a top half finish which is an incredible achievement when everyone has spoke about second-season syndrome. We are very determined to do everything we can to finish as high as possible.
"There is a fair chance that Toney will be fit for Tottenham on Saturday."

Everton
Everton boss Sean Dyche to BBC Sport: "We got the tactical idea right early on and the belief in the performance. You have to quell what they do. Once they broke that open with long balls they picked up they were better.
"The first goal was a very good goal. The second was more disappointing, a straight ball and they reacted quicker.
"They're a top side. About five of their players are charging forward.
"The second one hurts it [their plan]. Mason had a really big chance, you never know if that goes in. They're a top side doing what top sides do. Their game plan wasn't working so they changed it and went more direct.
"I thought Dwight McNeil was outstanding today. There were some good performances today. But City find that way. You'd be amazed if they don't win the league. They've got a big guy who keeps knocking it into the net.
"We kept tirelessly working. Our mentality was right."

Manchester City
Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan to BBC Sport...
On his first goal: "It was instinct. It helped me a lot that Erling could distract both centre-backs. I saw the space created and tried to make the run. I was waiting for Riyad's ball. Even though it was at the back of my run it came quite well for me to take a touch. Everything after was instinct. I didn't see any other option, I just tried to go for goal. It went well."
On his second goal: "I tried to keep my run short. I feel that was a moment I was able to surprise him [Pickford] a bit. I thought he was thinking Riyad would take it. Our coaches, they showed a similar situation and told me if I step up for a free-kick like that, take a short run up and put it over the wall. it worked out perfectly even though the ball wasn't that much in the corner.
"We just tried to play our style of football. We could have done better with some situations. With the third one we were able to kill the game and just focus on keeping possession. We knew it would be tough but that third goal helped us a lot."

Everton
Everton defender James Tarkowski speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we were in it till they scored their first goal. We felt good and were countering well. It was pleasing to a point, but we always knew it would be a tough day. We needed a bit of luck but it just didn't go our way.
"It was a terrific finish [for City's first goal], but we're more worried about how the ball got there. They're a top side and once they're in the final third, if you don't get those little details right they'll score.
"You saw by the fans' reaction [at the end]. They stuck by us and they've been incredible. We've got every belief [we'll avoid relegation] and this won't knock us back."
Arsenal v Brighton (16:30 BST)
What a great game this will be, and I am fascinated to see how both sides approach it.
Brighton love teams who come at them, and that was their issue with Everton last week - the Toffees just would not come out, even when they were ahead.
The Seagulls persisted in playing through the middle in that game, trying to create overloads, but Everton played with such a narrow five in midfield that there was no space to play through them.
You might think that losing 5-1 at home to Everton might knock Brighton's confidence, but I don't think it will. Roberto de Zerbi's side will carry on playing the same way and they might have more joy against Arsenal.
I don't think Mikel Arteta will back down and show more caution than normal - he can't because it is Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
I am going for an open game, lots of goals... and the points to be shared.
Prediction: 2-2

Manchester City
City boss Pep Guardiola to BBC Sport: "Between the Champions League semis, it’s difficult here after Everton scored five against Brighton. From minute one we took the game in our hands. It was a brilliant performance at the end of a season. We need two more victories to be champions. Step by step recovery.
"They defended deep. Their transitions are amazing. They are the best team by far in transitions in the league. We controlled the game. We were patient and attacked the spaces.
"Gundogan arriving in the box is amazing. Really really important.
“Every time we win you bring energy for the next game. We are recovering well.
"Semi-final of the Champions League against Real Madrid at home, what can you say? I said to the players try to relax and just do what you have done for the last four or five years."
Arsenal v Brighton (16:30 BST)
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's a completely new game [after the 5-1 home defeat to Everton]. For sure we are still frustrated and disappointed for the last result but we know how it can be in football and we have to be ready to fight and play with the right mentality and the right style of play."
On 18-year-old forward Evan Ferguson: "He is a fresh player. He feels good and for us he is an important player and one more option we can use in attack."
What do you have to do today to get a good result? "We have to attack but we have to defend with balance and with the head because we know Arsenal are a great team. But I think we have the quality to win. We can write history. We have a big, big motivation. We don't have too many players but enough to win some games to qualify for Europe."

Arsenal
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, speaking to Sky Sports: "Nothing changes - we have to win our game. We don't have any other choice. We have to win [our last three games] to gives ourselves the best chance - starting today."
On Brighton: "We have a big task ahead of us to beat Brighton. They dominate important aspects of the game and they can be very efficient with the ball and really aggressive without it.
"You've seen the number of games they have played, the amount of points they have picked up. I don't know [if this is a good time to play them after their 5-1 home defeat to Everton].
On what Jorginho brings to the side: "Intelligence, quality, leadership. He makes a lot of good decisions. He makes the people around him better."
On whether Oleksandr Zinchenko will play again this season: "I don't know. We will have to see in the next couple of days how he reacts."
Arsenal v Brighton (16:30 BST)
Manchester City have done what they need to do and now it is over to Arsenal, who have a very tricky game against Brighton to navigate.
A win is a must if the Gunners are to keep up the pressure on City.

Everton have lost 10 home matches in a single league campaign for the first time. They lost nine in 1912-13, 1947-48, 1950-51, 1993-94 and 2020-21.

The match was over as a contest in the 51st minute when Ilkay Gundogan put that one in the top corner, wonderful free-kick. He was the star man today, two goals and an assist.

If Manchester City beat two of Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford they will be champions.
If Arsenal don't win all their games, they might not even need to do that.

Everton, as hard as they've tried, haven't forced Ederson to make a save so I'm not surprised it turned into a comfortable victory for Manchester City.
