Well done this season to Brighton. As a Palace fan it's hard to say this but you have been the team of the season. "Hopefully" European football next season won't put the strain on you that it's put on West Ham the last couple of years.

RE: Zahi 14:11. I've no doubt Kane would have won trophies if hed moved to a bigger club earlier but I dont know about the ballon D'or's. He would have still been competing for that against Messi and Ronaldo in thier prime. Also both of those players won ballon D'or's due to success with thier national team. No matter Kanes club hed still have to play for England...

I think West Ham should go for the win to keep the winning mentality ahead of a Conference League Final. Leeds anyway as bad as Everton and Leicester this season. Nothing to choose among them.

As Jack Harrison dragged his shot wide, he turned and flung his arms into the air in exasperation.
Leeds have got themselves into dangerous positions so many times and have failed to execute.
They need to be sharper around the penalty area.

Anyway, as I was about to say, Southampton, generally, are playing some nice stuff at the Amex. They settle down again after that defensive mix-up.
Brighton are dominating the chances but it's been a frustrating first 25 minutes for their front players - especially Mitoma.

But if Leicester beat Newcastle on Monday night, they will be the ones with survival in their own hands going into the final match.

Well, I was just about to write that Southampton had settled into this after weathering a fair amount of Brighton pressure in the early stages.
But the Saints get a bit carried away in knocking the ball around at the back and a loose pass from Alex McCarthy is picked up by Kaoru Mitoma, who somehow fails to punish the visitors.
The winger lifts the ball over McCarthy, only to see his shot come back off the post, allowing McCarthy to gather.

It's tough to know how this will play out because West Ham didn't look at it until they scored and then Leeds ended the first half as the stronger of the two teams.
If Leeds really get after them in the second half then there's a good chance they can win this. The likes of Zouma and Ogbonna just haven't been on it today.
