Timothy Castagne robs it off Alexander Isak and sends Jamie Vardy on his way. Isak tries to win it back and ends up fouling Vardy.

Newcastle have been well on top so far though.

Elliot Anderson has had a great start to the game despite being drafted in as a late replacement for Joelinton.

He does well to keep the ball on the edge of Leicester's box and Newcastle switch it across and come back at them.

An early booking for Bruno Guimaraes and it's no wonder! His boot is very high and the studs go straight into the thigh of Boubakary Soumare.

That's surely worth a check for a potential red card?

VAR do have a long look but think a yellow is punishment enough.

Nice from Elliot Anderson. He slips it down the line for Alexander Isak to chase. He cuts it back into the middle dangerously and it's headed away by Luke Thomas. Sean Longstaff goes tumbling in the box a few moments later but won't get anything.

Kieran Trippier lifts it in to Callum Wilson but under pressure, he can only let it bounce off his shoulder and comfortably into Daniel Iversen's arms. Youri Tielemans then tries to slide it through to Jamie Vardy but the pass isn't on.

Huge blow for Newcastle to lose Joelinton because he is such a powerful force in midfield and a key part of their energy and intensity at the start of games.

Elliot Anderson is highly thought of, though. Big chance for him.

Kelechi Iheanacho closes down a clearance from Kieran Trippier but Newcastle were not under any pressure. They have kept the ball for the first few minutes and are knocking it about.
