    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Neil Johnston
    BBC Sport at Prenton Park

Less than half an hour remaining of the Women's Super League season and the title is heading back to Chelsea.

Credit to Manchester United's travelling fans who continue to encourage their team even though their hopes of finishing top are slipping away.

It's been a frustrating afternoon for Marc Skinner's side but it must not be forgotten how much progress they have made this season.

    Man City 2-0 Everton

Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Izzy Christiansen has been a WSL great.

Played around the world, been successful, won trophies.

I'm sure she'll have a lot of [job] offers coming in after her retirement.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Man City 2-0 Everton

Substitution for Everton and off comes former Man City and England midfielder Izzy Christiansen.

She's replaced by Hanna Bennison in her final match before retirement. Both home and away supporters have given her a standing ovation.

    Reading 0-2 Chelsea

Madison Perry shows her pace again.

This time she is played in down the right channel and clips in a good ball from the byline. Chelsea get it away but it has been much better from Reading since half-time.

  5. Postpublished at 15:53 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

It's no exaggeration to say Leicester could have scored five today.

Hannah Cain wastes another chance, heading over from around five yards after a cross looped up kindly for her.

Top on Willie Kirk's summer priority list will be a finisher or two - creating problems hasn't been a problem for the Foxes this season. But converting them has.

  6. 'They were both fully committed'published at 15:53 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

[Russo's] head collided with Laws' elbow I think. They were both fully committed and I don't think there was anything either player did wrong.

Great ball by Boe Risa, splits the two centre-halves. It's one of those occupational hazards as a goalkeeper.

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

The Liverpool fans want a card for Alessia Russo who sprints to a ball over the top and collides with Reds keeper Racheal Laws.

There's no malice behind it, Russo didn't even see Laws coming. The Liverpool keeper did take an almighty knock though.

    Reading 0-2 Chelsea

Great pace from Madison Perry as she bursts past Magdalena Eriksson having given the Chelsea skipper a five-yard head-start.

Perry wins a corner and Reading look to have won another one but the ball hits the corner flag, stays in and Lauren James shows great strength to win a free-kick.

    Man City 2-0 Everton

Manchester City have scored 13 goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half, more than any other team in the WSL this season.

    Arsenal 0-2 Aston Villa

Arsenal are yet to lose against Aston Villa in the Women’s Super League and, of course, thrashed the visitors 7-0 in this fixture last term.

The Gunners have also never lost their final league game of the season.

In the previous 11 years, Arsenal have only failed to win the final match twice - drawing against Birmingham and Aston Villa.

Those records are set to go as it stands.

    West Ham 2-2 Tottenham

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Beth England has been a blessing to this Tottenham team.

Her statistics have been ridiculous, and given that she has only played for them since January, she is still the third highest scorer in the league.

She's basically scored in every other game that she has played in!

    Reading 0-2 Chelsea

Good ball in but Chelsea clear and break quickly.

Guro Reiten looks set to burst through the middle but Reading get back quickly to cut her off and stop the immediate danger.

    Lauren Hemp

    A stunning strike!

Manchester City are enjoying themselves now as Lauren Hemp gets the ball on the right, cuts inside on to her left foot and curls the ball brilliantly into the top corner, clipping the underside of the bar on the way to the net.

No chance for the keeper, City are on a roll now.

Almost a second for Manchester City's Khadija Shaw from a Chloe Kelly cutback, but her side-footed finish is blocked by an Everton defender.

    The home side are dominating.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Hannah Cain's cross ricochets off Brighton defender Rebekah Stott and then hits Leicester striker Remy Siemsen before seeming to go wide off the upright.

Pinball city there - and then Cain fires wide of the near post from 15 yards shortly after. The Foxes are virtually safe now but they clearly want to sign off the season with a win.

Free-kick to Reading in a good position. In line with the edge of the penalty area on the left-hand side.

Can Kelly Chambers' side make the most of it?

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

Liverpool's Ceri Holland picks up a yellow card for a lazy challenge on Ona Batlle on the halfway line.

Manchester United are starting to flex now.

  18. 'United have been bright'published at 15:46 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

It's been a bright start from Manchester United. You can tell they've been given a no-nonsense, outlined plan for the second half.

Emma Hayes is looking as relaxed as you would expect on the Chelsea bench in these circumstances.

Her side aren't there quite yet but they are not far off.

Manchester United are gifted a cheap corner as Liverpool keeper Rachael Laws and defender Gemma Bonner get in a muddle.

The set-piece is worked short but Vilde Boe Risa's eventual shot is blocked.
