    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

Chelsea are just going to want to keep possession and run the energy out of Manchester United's legs.

They know that United will chase because they don't want to leave anything on the pitch.

It doesn't need to be pretty, Chelsea just want to get over the line.

    Should be 2-0!

Sam Kerr cuts in from the left, leaving Maya Le Tissier in her dust, and cuts back to Sophie Ingle who fires over.

    Big chance.

United were so much better with Parris on the pitch. I wonder if Skinner is regretting subbing her off.

    Deanne in Manchester

Sam Kerr was marginally offside there? Would have been interesting to look at with VAR but can't say it's the first time she has scored offside against us this season.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 79 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Double change by United - in defence Hannah Blundell is replaced by Aoife Mannion. Up top, Ella Toone comes off for Lucia Garcia.

Toone looks very unhappy about that.

    Breaking

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

The attendance is announced - 77,390.

Not only a record crowd for a Women's FA Cup final, but a world record for a women's domestic match, beating a league game between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

    Incredible.

  10. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

What have United got to give now? They were on top for the first hour, but they need to come up with even more ideas here.

Those missed chances in the first half are proving expensive.

  11. 'Don't write off United'published at 16:03 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

I wouldn't write Manchester United off because they have created chances but Pernille Harder has been the one to finally open them up.

But there's one major hurdle United haven't overcome since being founded and that's beating Chelsea.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Chelsea's tails are now fully up. As predicted, they have pressed United much higher this half, and got their rewards.

A change for the Blues too, Jess Carter replacing Niamh Charles.

  13. The back flip!published at 16:01 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    There's the back flip!

Sam Kerr ran straight over to Pernille Harder, then let loose with her trademark celebration and turned back to the Chelsea fans' end to give them a roaring fist pump before the game kicked off again.

Chelsea have looked far more threatening since Harder's introduction.

  14. 'Kerr laps that up'published at 16:00 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Corsie
Scotland and Aston Villa defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

A simple finish, but those are movements she loves. An incredible pass from Harder and it is a beautiful goal. Kerr laps that up.

  15. 'Instant impact'published at 15:59 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

Pernille Harder has had an instant impact. She's been on just over five minutes and she's had a couple of shots at goal and helped to create other chances.

The way she peels off the shoulder makes her so difficult to mark.

Chelsea have looked a different outfit since Harder has come onto the pitch.

  16. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Man Utdpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Sam Kerr (68 mins)

    She is inevitable.

Guro Reiten slid in Pernille Harder down the right wing, and the Dane - who has made a massive impact since coming on - puts in a superb low cross perfectly between keeper and defence.

It finds Sam Kerr at the far post, and she buries the ball past Mary Earps.

For the third successive Women's FA Cup final, Kerr scores - and she celebrates with a back-flip.

Kev Mcveigh: Turner knew exactly what she was doing there. She clearly swung into Harder. Foul and yellow card. Not sure what the commentators watched.

Have to say I disagree with Kev. But what do you think?

  18. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Brilliant ball by Lauren James, and Pernille Harder is through one on one to the left of Mary Earps' goal. She tries to pull back to Sam Kerr, however United get it clear.

It looked like Harder was marginally offside, so would probably have been disallowed.

  19. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Free kick Chelsea, Erin Cuthbert gets clattered around 35 yards out from the United goal by Rachel Williams.

Her first action in the final, let them know you're there.

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

    Emma Sanders
    BBC Sport at Wembley Stadium

Marc Skinner and Emma Hayes have both made attacking changes which indicate they don't want this going to extra-time.

Rachel Williams, United's 'super-sub' this season, tends to play more direct.

With Pernille Harder on the pitch, Sam Kerr now has someone to play off. It changes the whole dynamic.
