  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Interesting first sub from United - Rachel Williams replaces Nikita Parris, who had been looking dangerous today.

Williams, who scored United's winner in the semi-final against Brighton, will play centrally with Alessia Russo out wide.

  2. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Oof, Pernille Harder is already down just after coming on. She was trying to press Millie Turner, who held her ground and the forward ran into her.

Nothing wrong from Turner, and Harder will be fine.

  3. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

    Immediate chance for Pernille Harder!

Maya Le Tissier fails to deal with a long ball, Sam Kerr races on to it down the left wing.

Her low cross finds Harder, however her first touch sees the ball trapped under her foot, and she can't get enough power or placement on the shot to beat Mary Earps.

  4. 'Starting to spice up'published at 15:48 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

It's a brilliant ball from Nikita Parris. She sees Alessio Russo drifting in at the far post but it's just ended up a little bit too deep.

The game has spiced up over the last five minutes.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 57 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Emma Hayes has seen enough, she makes a double change.

Pernille Harder comes on for Jessie Fleming, the Canadian forward has offered little today. Harder could be a very different proposition.

Also, Sophie Ingle replaces Melanie Leupolz in the centre of midfield.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 56 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Nikita Parris clips a great cross from the right wing, with Eve Perisset doing really well to head away from the waiting Alessia Russo.

Niamh Charles then gets a booking for an earlier foul.

  7. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Quick-thinking long pass from Maya Le Tissier sets Leah Galton away, however her right footed shot lacks power and Berger saves.

There is a really good tempo to this game now. United continue to have the upper hand.

  8. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Ella Toone looks to have broken the offside trap, she streaks onto a through ball but the cutback to Alessia Russo is intercepted.

Then the offside flag finally goes up. I know it has to be delayed for VAR purposes, but come on.

  9. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

Erin Cuthbert has a dodgy moment, as she fails to deal with a pass from the left and loses possession to Alessia Russo.

Russo takes an early shot from distance, which is easy for Ann-Katrin Berger. Let off for Chelsea.

  10. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

England manager Sarina Wiegman is spotted in the crowd by the TV cameras.

Just over two months now until the 2023 World Cup. I can't wait.

  11. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

The first sign of danger for United, Lauren James is almost played clean through in the area.

Millie Turner with some good defending to intercept just in time.

  12. 'Harder on sooner rather than later'published at 15:38 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

I think Pernille Harder will come on sooner rather than later. She has played well recently after her comeback and scored goals, albeit against teams she should be scoring against.

Doing that against Manchester United will be much more difficult.

  13. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

It's interesting that some of the key players on show today could be playing their final few games for their clubs.

Ona Batlle and Alessia Russo are out of contract at United this summer, while Chelsea's Magda Eriksson and Pernille Harder are being linked with Bayern Munich.

If they do depart, they will want to sign out with a winner's medal.

Some mixed reaction to the decision not to award Manchester United a penalty at the end of the first half.

Ronarid 9: Foul continues into the area - joke decision.

Wendy Temple Author: The VAR referee took all of 5 seconds to make that decision. Not enough time to consider whether the foul continued into the box.

Emma Harvey: Penalty all day long!

Scott Gregory: Looked a penalty to me.. Close though. VAR clearly thought differently..

The players are heading back out onto the field now, the second half is imminent.

Will we see a winner? Or are we destined for extra time, and possibly penalties?

  17. 'Parris pushing for England call'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    HT: Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC One

Nikita Parris is playing with attitude and that's when you get the best out of her.

When she left Arsenal and joined United she probably wasn't performing at her best, she had to work her way into the team and she wasn't selected by England.

That hurt Nikita. She's shown up well today and is putting herself in a postion for Sarina Wiegman to pick her in the summer.

  18. 'United having success on flanks'published at 15:30 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    HT: Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd

    Alex Scott
Former England and Arsenal defender on BBC One

United have been on the front foot and pressing Chelsea back in the wide areas.

They've put plenty of crosses in and that approach is working for them.

  19. Watch: Earps' outstanding stoppublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Media caption,

Chelsea 0-0 Man United: Mary Earps pulls off great save to deny Chelsea opener

Chelsea's only shot on target in the first half came when Lauren James looped a header towards goal.

It required a brilliant save from the Manchester United and England number one.

I must say how much I am enjoying this Cup Final as I have enjoyed watching the WSL and The Lionesses this past year or so. Over the past couple of years or so, I have become very disillusioned with football. A Spurs fan of nigh on 60 year standing I find the Mens Game has become so muddied by vast sums of money it is not the game it once was and is full of dishonest cheating players. So it is so nice to watch two teams of players playing for the Love of the Game. Very much a neutral but maybe the Women can draw me back into football.
