There's signs that Norway are coming into this now as we enter the closing stages. New Zealand are looking tired with the big effort they've put into this, but they are closing in on a famous win.

Norway give New Zealand a fright with an effort that strikes the bar, Tuva Hansen's fizzing effort from distance pushed onto the woodwork by Victoria Esson.

Say this is 1-0 and Norway have lost this opening game, it's not disastrous. They have got to look at the silver lining.

They play the Philippines and Switzerland, two teams that they should absolutely beat even if they are playing at second rate. They should still progress to the latter stages.

In previous years there would be a huge disparity in quality between these two teams, that is not the case now.

Is anyone going to take this game by the scruff of the neck for Norway? Their big players haven't been in the game enough.

New Zealand are trying to slow the game down and control the play.

Ria Percival with a lovely strike but she just catches it on the outside of her foot.

That would have polished off an outstanding performance from New Zealand and another wonderful passage of play leading to Percival's shot.

Norway have got to get further up the field. If New Zealand can stop the ball getting to Caroline Graham Hansen and Ada Hegerberg, those in the final third.

Norway are having to resort to long balls and they just haven't got the quality.

A big final 15 minutes for Norway manager Hege Riise. It hasn't happened for them for 75 minutes of this match, so can Riise find the answer to get back level in these closing stages?
