Indiah-Paige Riley is one of those young bright sparks who I'm sure like Ali Riley and Ria Percival will go on to get 100 caps for her country.

Indiah-Paige Riley has been busy in this game. She's provided an attacking threat down the flank for New Zealand but has also defended well and she reads the danger well now to cut out an opportunity to attack for Norway.

Another set-piece chance for New Zealand with a free kick. Katie Bowen is on this once again, and again floats the ball into the box. This time she finds Hannah Wilkinson, but there's no-one to meet her header across the dangerzone.

Ada Hegerberg's shot is deflected wide but Julie Blakstad chases the ball to keep it in play. She gets a bit of luck with a deflection off a defender but her whipped in cross is well held by Victoria Esson.

Norway are just looking a bit sloppy, a little bit off the pace. From a mental point of view, their decision making is not sharp.

Hege Riise won't be happy with the standard her Norwegian team are displaying at the moment but that is a credit to New Zealand.

That ball over the top for Hannah Wilkinson remains the preferred mode of attack for New Zealand and you feel like one of them will come off eventually as the Norway defence does not look comfortable with it at all.

Great run by Malia Steinmetz as the New Zealand midfielder bursts forward from within her own half. A heavy touch on the edge of the Norway box lets her down, but positive stuff again from the tournament co-hosts.

Three fouls in quick succession by Norway players and that prompts boos from the home crowd.

New Zealand have done a really good job of giving their opponents little time on the ball and frustrating them.

Norway work the ball well down the left before the ball into the box is headed down to Frida Maanum, who snatches at her shot and sends it well over. She grimaces in frustration as she knows that was a real opportunity.

Joe: Norway defending will be giving their fans an anxiety attack. It's like they've learnt nothing from the shellacking they suffered vs the England Lionesses last year. Must clear better, because better sides than New Zealand will take advantage.

This place is going to erupt if the Football Ferns do get the ball in the back of Norway's net. The crowd is up for this and cheering absolutely everything - throw-ins, clearances, the lot.

Now Norway win a corner as Indiah-Paige Riley cuts out a cross from the right. The ball into the box is an awkward one for goalkeeper Victoria Esson but eventually her defence is able to scramble clear.

That was a nervous moment for New Zealand, however.

New Zealand have another free kick and once again it is floated in by Katie Bowen. This one is a bit more concerning for Norway and Julie Blakstad glances it behind for a corner.

It is an opportunity for the co-hosts, but one that is wasted as the set piece into the box is above everyone.

She needs help as Norway players close her down and finds it in Indiah-Paige Riley, but her first-time ball into the box is rushed and cut out.

No clear cut chances yet but New Zealand will be happy with this start.

New Zealand keep up this positive spell as Indiah-Paige Riley's tenacity earns her side a free kick. Katie Bowen floats the ball into the box but can't find a team-mate.
